Who is Patrick Gilmore?

The creator of the New York Times bestseller The Big Switch: How Liberals Went Crazy, and How Conservatives Became Better People. He is also the author of five other books, including The Big Switch: How Liberals Went Crazy, and How Conservatives Became Better People, which was named one of the Best Books of the Year by the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, and NPR.

He was raised in a small town in Texas, where his parents owned a successful funeral home. He grew up with the sense that people were different from each other and that he was different from them, which helped him to develop an understanding of the other side of the political divide. He began his political journey at the age of fifteen, when he started writing for his high school newspaper and eventually got a job at a local paper.

While earning his degree at the University of North Carolina, he became increasingly interested in issues relating to the environment and to our country's energy policy. In the summer of 1999, he traveled across the country as a delegate to the U. Democratic National Convention. After college, he began writing for the Washington Times, the Washington Examiner, and The New American magazine, where he has also served as a contributing editor.
