The best way to find this out is by visiting our. Ford Focus RS Mk2 page where you'll find the best information. Available online, including full technical specifications, performance data and test results. A car doesn't stop at being good because of its engine power output; it must be good looking as well! The Ford Focus RS Mk2 can be found in many colours and trim levels, but the one we like the most is the stunning Black Pearl Metallic model. This model is all about being bold, so the more aggressive body kit, wider black wheels and gloss black roof spoiler all play an important part in creating this very distinctive look.

If your engine isn't good enough for you then maybe a V6 engine would work better, as it combines good power with a low fuel consumption. Ford have launched the V6 Focus RS Mk2 with 2,6l v6 engine and this can be fitted with the EcoBoost system, which can add about 20 per cent more power for better fuel consumption, too. There are 3 options for choosing the right EcoBoost engine: with 1,5l, 1,6l or 2,0l V6 engine. We'd choose the EcoBoost engine as it offers more comfort and performance than other models.

A great feature of the Ford Focus RS Mk2 is that it is so flexible. You can choose the automatic transmission or the manual one, either way the car will get you where you need to go and the engine is perfectly refined, for example, the V6 engine produces 200 PS from just 1,6l of fuel. How many Mk2 Focus RS were made?

That is an excellent question! So here are some interesting facts that I have found. According to the N/A records, at least 2 were made. They were made from October 2024 until February 2024 (the last N/A was Feb 16, 2003). So there are three known models of Mk2 Focus RS between Oct 2024 and Feb 2024. Here are the known build numbers:

N/A 01066 was built October 2024. N/A 03818 was built November 2024. N/A 03013 was built January 2024. According to a forum member in California, he said there was also a very rare orange RS (only 9 or so orange Mk2 Focus RS have been registered). It has been rumored for years that Ford has a color change for the Mk2.

In the beginning, the Mk2 (from Jan 1995 - Nov 1998) was going to be white. It was changed to a silver. The next model is still a white, but it is a little bit different, it is a blue metallic (the original black car had a deep blue metallic). Since then, it is called a silver alpine, and all Mk2 Focus RS have the same color. But it doesn't matter, because any Mk2 can be easily identified by the yellow hood/fender trim/doors.

The only difference of a Mk2 is the hood. Most Mk1 is just a regular Focus. Most Mk2 had big hood fins and some minor changes. The best to distinguish them is the Y shaped air intake on the nose. This intake is a common feature on early models. In fact, all N/A's had that intake and they are quite expensive these days. The Mk2 is better on the outside, because the body is now a more aggressive style. But a Mk2 is still a nice car.

I have a friend who owns two Mk2 Focus RS. He bought a white alpine and he bought a normal white Mk2. I have seen it, and it looks very good (actually, one of them looks better than the normal Mk2 because of the more aggressive exterior. A few parts of the engine might be upgraded.
