How much BHP does a Stage 2 remap add?

How much BHP does a Stage 2 remap add?

How much horsepower does a stage 2 focus st have?

I bought one and it was a little less than the sti?

S-05. 01-07-2009, 11:11 PM. 4
01-07-2009, 11:17 PM. I thought mine was 4. DV8Diesel. 01-07-2009, 11:24 PM. Mine is 4.4 01-07-2009, 11:25 PM. It has around 4.4 not 4.2
01-07-2009, 11:26 PM. Ok, I just looked and mine says 4.2, but it should say 4.

01-07-2009, 11:27 PM. Hahaha no that's not what I meant. I meant if you buy the Focus ST then you will have a 4.2, in that case.

01-07-2009, 11:28 PM. Ok, what is your engine size? 01-07-2009, 11:31 PM. I have a 4.6 in my F30.2L engine instead of a 4.

01-07-2009, 11:33 PM. Hahahaha ok, I was not sure if it was a 4.2 or not, haha.

01-07-2009, 11:37 PM. I guess the 4.2 was for the stage 2? 01-07-2009, 11:39 PM. Yes it was for the stage 2.

How much HP can a Focus ST handle?

By this point, I'm sure we've all heard of the HP, or How Much HP? test that enthusiasts have been using for years to measure how much power a car actually has. My question for you is this: how much HP does a Focus ST have, and is it enough? HP refers to Horsepower, or in layman's terms, how fast your engine can go. In many ways, it's an excellent gauge for the performance potential of any car, because it gives you an idea of how much the engine is pushing the car forward. However, for Focus ST owners and enthusiasts, the HP number is usually only useful as a rough guideline for performance potential.

If we look at the numbers on the HP gauge itself, we can get a rough idea of what the car's potential is. We can see that the 1.6T Focus has a maximum HP of around 100, while the 1.8T Focus has a maximum of 110 HP. But where we really want to focus our attention is on the torque numbers, because those are the numbers that tell us how hard the engine will be working. We see the 1.6T Focus having a torque rating of 150 ft-lbs, while the 1.8T model is rated at 185 ft-lbs. So the 1.6T is certainly not going to feel like it's being pushed to its limit, while the 1.8T is going to feel much harder to push.

The biggest problem with using HP as a guide to performance potential is that there are many other factors that come into play. For example, a number of the Focus ST models also have a manual transmission, which naturally has a different feel compared to an automatic. Also, if you don't have a manual transmission, then the steering angle and weight of the car play a significant role in how it feels to drive, as does the weight of the car. If you take a lightweight car with a very light steering wheel, then it will feel like it's going to push you off the road at any moment.

But all of those other things are outside of the scope of this review. What we're really interested in is whether the Focus ST feels like a strong, agile little car or not. Is it fun to drive?

How much BHP does a Stage 2 remap add?

focus st remap stage 2 How much BHP does a Stage 2 remap add?

I know the Stage 2 is a good idea but I don't want to go too far without knowing how much it will add to my BHP. I have had my car from new, since then I have done a few things, like a front end alignment (to fit new tires), changed brake pads and rotors, changed air filters and hoses, changed spark plugs (1st one was a miss).

I am going to do the timing belt on Tuesday (2nd time around) and also do the remap. The car is now a 3.7L 6-cylinder. I am not sure what the exact type is. It has two rows of injectors.

Any advice? I would like to be able to tell my insurance company the best deal for me. I already have a warranty so I am not worried about the price. Just the BHP I'm talking about.

Do a search on these forums and you'll see the "bhp charts" that will give you some idea of how much the remap will add to your engine's power. The more you tighten up the camshaft timing and valves, the more HP you should expect from it. You'll also be doing that at the same time as you change to larger wheels (and tires) so you'll be taking advantage of the improved handling and grip of wider tires, too.

As for insurance, if it's your own money, you don't need to worry about your insurer making an offer that won't meet your needs. You can afford to spend the money on the remap and enjoy the BHP gain for a long time. If you're paying for the remap through your car insurance, your insurer may make you a lower offer than the remap will add BHP. At least that's the impression I get from friends who've been through this.

Thanks. Not bad for a new car and a remap. They must have thought I would keep the car longer.

If your insurance doesn't cover a remap it is more of a case of how much it will cost you to do the remap than the insurance company offering it.

What are the requirements for Stage 2 Ford Focus ST?

The Stage 2 Ford Focus ST is a little bit slower than the normal model. But what is the difference between the normal and ST models? Find out more in this Stage 2 Ford Focus ST review: The focus is to be an affordable, stylish hatchback, but what is the difference between the standard Focus ST and the Stage 2 ST model? The ST and the Stage 2 ST are basically the same thing, as the difference is just the engine - the standard model has a 1.6 litre Ford EcoBoost petrol engine, while the Stage 2 model has a 1.5 litre Ford Ecoboost petrol engine.

The other main difference is the exterior, with the Stage 2 ST model having an aluminium roof and front and rear bumper. Exterior. You'll see the difference in the styling of the outside, with the stage 2 ST being the more modern look. When you get close to the car you will notice a small spoiler on the front, and four twin round headlamps on the front and a twin hexagon set on the rear. The car also has more pronounced wheel arches to separate it from its predecessor. Both models share a similar body colour - the Focus ST is available in a choice of two colours - Blue Storm or Crystal White, while the Stage 2 ST is available in three colour options - Crystal White, Jet Black or Black Storm. Interior. While the interior is similar, the Stage 2 ST model is a little more modern and contemporary. The first thing you will notice is the driver airbag, which is now a part of the front seats. This will hopefully mean you're less likely to get hurt when you hit the ground.

The inside of the car also has a few modern touches. There's a digital instrument panel with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, air conditioning, airbags and climate control.

Under the bonnet. The 1.5 litre EcoBoost petrol engine in the Focus ST Stage 2 is good for 133bhp at 6,000rpm and 177lb ft of torque at 4,400rpm.

This is the same engine that the standard Focus ST uses, but a new exhaust means a slightly different sound.
