How big is the Freightliner Cascadia?

How big is the Freightliner Cascadia?

How big is the bed in a Freightliner Cascadia?

The answer to that question will vary depending on the specific model of Freightliner Cascadia. In some cases, the beds can range from 24'6 long by 8'8 wide, while in others, they can measure as short as 23'0 by 7'8 and up to 25'4 by 9'8. It is also a good idea to know what type of box container the bed will be used for. For instance, the freight will be loaded on a flatbed container that has the capacity of a standard highway semi truck, but the trucking industry will refer to the box container as a flatbed while the industry for marine transportation would call it a lighter.

How many standard and low cabins are in the Freightliner Cascadia? This varies, as well. If you purchase a Freightliner Cascadia built in 2026 or later, then it will most likely feature two standard cabins, although we understand that some models from this generation did come with three. If you want to ensure you'll get the low-cabins, make sure that your model was built before 2026. It should also be noted that some of the newer Freightliner Cascadia models are starting to include a low-cabin option in their model fleet. They simply feature a lower roof height along with a lowered windshield location.

How much cargo can be carried with a Freightliner Cascadia? On average, a Freightliner Cascadia cab size box containers carry enough cargo to take between 13,700 to 15,700 lbs of goods while a flatbed has the capacity to carry between 9,100 to 10,600 lbs of goods. Of course, the weight of the payload is not set in stone, as each customer is permitted to adjust it upon ordering their load.

If I have an oversized truck, can I move my Freightliner Cascadia to a flatbed? This is one of the more complicated things to keep in mind when shipping a cargo on board a Freightliner Cascadia cab.

What size mattress is in a 2025 Freightliner Cascadia?

Quick Answer. For a 2026 Freightliner Cascadia truck model, the mattress size is a 60-inches wide by 80-inches long by 28-inches thick. It has a firmness rating of 40 in the middle. The mattress size is larger than the standard size truck mattress offered on the truck, which has a width of 55-inches by a length of 80-inches and thickness of 30-inches.

Keep Learning. In order to accommodate the full length mattress, the Cascadia is a longer vehicle than most. The width of the vehicle itself is 10-inches longer than the 2026 model and 12-inches longer than the 2026 model. It also stands 6-inches taller than the 2026 model. As for weight, the truck itself weighs approximately 4,400 pounds, while the mattress is 3,500 pounds. The Cascadia weighs slightly more than the 2026 model at about 4,500 pounds.

The Freightliner Cascadia offers comfort and flexibility with its truck bed system. A variety of mattress options are available and can be easily customized to suit your needs. The truck beds themselves are designed with the user's comfort and ability to maneuver as top priority.

The bed system is made from a powder-coated high-strength steel and aluminum frame, which makes it durable and capable of withstanding the rigors of daily use and travel. A mattress size of 60 inches wide by 80 inches long is standard. Standard mattress sizes that come in a sleeper version include 55 inches wide by 80 inches long, 60 inches wide by 80 inches long and 60 inches wide by 86 inches long.

The truck bed system has five basic mattress sizes, ranging from 50-inches wide by 70-inches long to 57-inches wide by 78-inches long, so that the user can choose which is most suitable for their specific needs. The standard 60-inches wide by 80-inches long mattress has a firmness rating of 40 in the middle.

Trucks are also available in many configurations and styles. You can choose to customize a pickup truck, minivan or cargo van, depending on what you need it for. For example, the Freightliner van model FCD-5045N, available at the Freightliner website, offers two different sizes of side walls with either high sides or low sides. Each wall also has different end bays.

What size mattress fits in a Freightliner?

I bought a new Freightliner two years ago, we recently put about 3000 miles on the truck and have only had a few repairs in that time. I'm looking for the answer to my problem, a good mattress is hard to get out in a pinch so I can't afford to miss a day or have it slide around the axle. I can get it into the bed when I'm putting in a tie down or in a pickup bed but sometimes I need to take a nap in the sleeper and pull over, I don't trust my footing with the way the sleeper hangs and the mattress being too heavy to lift while the truck is moving. This leaves me out of luck or running around pulling all the air hoses out to make it out or in the cab to pull it out of the sleeper, even pushing it out of the sleeper. Is there any known ways to solve this problem besides just sleeping in a different area of the truck bed? If I'm having to run around the truck bed or into the cab this makes me look like a bad driver or an idiot that misses a day of work or needs a long layoff to regroup.

ANSWER. No, at least not until you buy the Freightliner. I did find a Freightliner owner forum though, I'll see what I find there.

Here is the best solution I've ever had, I'm actually typing this from the driver seat of our 3200, no sleeper, I use a 5' tall folding lawn chair or a couple of small chairs you don't mind sitting in and pushing out the back. You may think this is cheating but the truck handles great, if you use two chairs you can get it over bumps without sliding, I just push one end forward and pull the other toward me, as I'm pushing it backward it slides out easily, I haven't seen it stuck yet. The mattress is also made to be compact when pulled through tight quarters like the cargo area of a Ford with a box bed, I can get it into the cargo box but sometimes things roll around, I had a guy help me figure out how to roll it up and then secure it, which works great but still takes some time and I just want it done.
