I'm looking at this truck right now and as I mentioned above, the engine is a 6.9L Cummins. My truck should be here Friday, so if I don't see what I want I'm gonna head out and take a look at the engine. When they said this thing is only 18/23 mpg, I kind of expected like 15/18 mpg, but you know, things could change between now and Friday.

Is there any reason to expect anything more than a 9L Cummins diesel, or will FCA just keep it the same?7L diesels arrive. A good deal that FCA is currently selling for is getting a base 4. This is the perfect truck for someone who has a job at home and doesn't need a work truck.

As for me.I already have a 2025 with a 5.0T and love it. No plans to upgrade my truck unless I find a great deal on a new truck. My truck will last me well into 2025 and I really do like the truck and the engine. I would love a 6.5L diesel (I think), but if you were paying for a new 4.

So let's say I get the new truck in January and it will give me about 6 months to drive it out for a week or so to see how it runs, what kind of gas mileage I can get, etc. How likely is it that they'll make any changes before then?
