First look at new Citroen MPV
The new multi-purpose vehicle, usually associated with poor fuel economy and emissions, is hoping to eschew this misconception. The Technospace's published CO2 emissions are are mere 98g/km, utilising a technology called Efficient Modular Platform 2. This car platform, developed by PSA Peugeot Citroen, uses very high strength steel, with magnesium and aluminium alloys to knock off up to 70kg of weight compared to earlier MPVs.
The Citroen Technospace is sure to be popular with families, and comes with a boot capacity of 537 litres, putting it on par with the Seat Toledo and Skoda Rapid. Size-wise, it clocks in at 4.43 metres long, and comes with an integrated 12-inch touch-sensitive display in full HD.
Currently, no pricing details have been released by Citroen for the Technospace, but these and more details may indeed be shown when the MPV receives it's formal unveiling in March at the Geneva Motor Show.
