Can I drive my car away from Copart?

Can I drive my car away from Copart?

Does Copart only sell damaged cars?

I purchased a 2025 Acura TL at FCA in May 2025, it had low miles and was on its original owner's plate. The car has since then been to several dealerships and is now at Copart. It is the original owner's plate so we don't know the age of the vehicle but it has not been topless since new so we assume the previous owner was more careful than some other new owners!

The car was purchased through CTP, and a very clear warranty agreement is attached. They sold me an inspection report that they had done on the vehicle which indicates that it is perfectly fine. All issues are listed as cosmetic such as faded and cracked rear bumper which do not affect the operation of the vehicle.

However, I asked several times about the odometer reading but haven't gotten any reply. The dealer that sold the car to me tells me the sale included a clear title and there is a clean odometer record at the DMV showing no mileage at the time of sale. Does that mean that it was still on its original odometer or is it damaged and needs to be replaced?

The car was inspected for cosmetic only. I did not ask about the odometer. The dealer may have told you he sold a clear title but may not have said a clean title. The title would be issued if the dealer doesn't get the odometer record from the DMV when you get your papers. If you are buying a car you don't own you should always get an odometer statement. If you did not, then you should contact your state odometer statute law department. You can't sell a car without a clean title unless you actually own the car which is unlikely in this case.

The seller of the car is using the dealership finance department for financing.00 (plus taxes and fees) which I think is pretty standard for a mid size car. I could have just used my credit for the down payment but I chose to use the loan to reduce monthly payments.

This seems like a good loan, but I am also concerned with the dealer financing for my cost of the car since I am not the one taking out the loan. What is the typical spread between dealer and finance company for a similar car? The dealer will be required to show that he or she has the means to cover for the loss.

Can you get parts from Copart?

When your Volvo needs new wheels, what do you do? Head to the parts counter of your local Volvo dealer or go online and start searching for replacement parts at autoblog. If you choose the latter, you'll see some interesting prices, but nothing nearly as good as the best prices you'll find at Copart, a private search engine with millions of preowned parts for all makes and models. We're not affiliated with Copart - we just think that it's a terrific site that's worth testing out. Here are a few good reasons why: You can buy a part with just a few clicks. Click on a part image and you'll be able to preview the parts, compare prices against other OEM (original equipment manufacturers) and even find a dealer in your area with a stock of parts at a "low" price.

You can check the status of any part, including availability, pricing, photos, inventory level and even photos of the dealers' warehouse. You can buy online by credit card or using your PayPal account.

In addition to part prices, you can find reviews and ratings from real car owners about their experiences when buying and receiving the parts from their dealers. These aren't the glowing testimonials of a product marketing firm - these are the real, first-hand feedback of people who have bought something from the dealerships (so far, Copart only has information for used and preowned cars).

One of the things we like most about Copart is that there's always a "Buy it now" price. This means you can actually get a price without having to wait for your credit card approval process to get started. That, along with the ability to look for prices and reviews all in one place, makes it pretty convenient.

So if you have a part in mind and don't know where to start looking for it, give Copart a try. I recently purchased a part to convert my 2025 model into a 2025. When I went to put in the part, I had to rekey the code of my computer so I couldn't access my Volvo page online. After much trying, I figured out that you had to reset your computer again to let the changeover take place. This was done by disconnecting the computer from the phone line and then reconnecting it back in order to get the computer to recognize the change.

Do Copart assess cars?

do copart repair cars Do Copart assess cars?

I'm trying to decide whether or not to purchase a 2025 Jeep Liberty. The problem is, the car has little miles on it and it's not in great condition (it's been through several mechanics) but it still has a clean carfax report. I know this may sound stupid, but should I go for it? I'm really looking for more than just a "used car" (the carfax is not the only thing I'm looking for).

This is not a used car dealership and I'm not buying it at their price. I'm buying it at a competitive price.

If you want a better understanding of the value of a used car, you could visit www. You can get the car history information for the entire country from them. And they'll even do a "clean" report for you.

And, no, they don't appraise cars. You can request a quote and they'll give you a price for a replacement car based on the information they have for the model you're interested in.

The only problem is that I have to pay shipping (and I don't have a lot of cash right now to do that). So, the dealer said they'll send it to them for an estimate. Is that right?

Can I drive my car away from Copart?

Copart operates 24/7 for a service that isn't always visible. The moment I get to my car and start it, Copart takes over. I am in no position to do anything - I have zero control over the car or the environment. What if I get a flat tire? No way, not with Copart's emergency services. They say that they will take my car as soon as they receive the call, within minutes if needed. Let me ask you this - do they really care about me or do they just want me out of their way, for as long as possible? For all I know, the first response could take hours because their technicians will have to go somewhere else. And they never tell me. So I'll be at Copart all day while my car is being worked on (in the morning and evening peak times).

Then there is the issue of what to do when I need my car in the middle of the night. When is middle of the night? Maybe 2AM or 3AM? That doesn't make sense. Copart has me out of luck again. They can't offer roadside assistance after midnight anyway. I might be able to walk to a local mechanic but, of course, they don't want to be out at 3AM. But Copart doesn't need to be out in the cold and dark.

Maybe it's not really Copart's fault. Maybe it's my fault for not buying insurance. Copart's services are probably useful and valuable to a lot of people who are busy going about their daily lives. But I still feel that I'm getting ripped off by a company that has no incentive to solve the problem. They want my money and they want me to spend as much time as possible with them so that they can get richer. Do you want your car dealer to be out in the dark and cold?

Do you feel like your car dealer takes your best interests into account? Why should you think your Copart dealer is any different16 comments. I have been doing that too. I had no idea about emergency services either. I only knew about it because I did one day drive to my home from college to find a small cop shop on the corner of my campus.
