Can anyone buy a car from Copart UK?
Hello. My mom lost her dad to an accident 3 months ago and is in serious debt. We need a car. We talked to her loan officer today, and he says that a 3rd, 4th, and 5th year auto mechanics degree is required for most.
Does anyone know any places we could possibly get a used vehicle through Copart UK? They sell vehicles of all makes/models online. Is there any way we could purchase something from them and have it shipped over here? If they can do it, then it would be nice to have the money to send me to school and be able to get my license. We talked to my son's mechanic for another opinion. He said he thinks it's the worst "bogus" deal ever. We want to make sure that we do whatever we can to put ourselves in a position to possibly qualify for a loan so that we can buy the car through my aunt so she doesn't have to go into another huge debt from my mom going into bankruptcy. He said he'd like to be paid for selling the car. This morning, we also went to a dealership here (with their salesman), and they weren't going to do anything even though they still had our paperwork on file from a month ago. He said the only reason they were doing anything is because they don't want to take on more customers. So we didn't hear back.
I'm sorry to hear about your dad. I wish the best for your mom.
It might be worth checking eBay to see if anybody is selling a used car that might be worth looking at. Some people make good profit on Ebay, some don't, just depends how much stuff they are dealing with at the time and how much effort they're prepared to put in. Good luck
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this! It means the world to us. You made us feel better about the whole situation. We just have to see what comes up. I have done some looking around on the forums and ebay, and people aren't very optimistic about doing the repairs through a third party like Copart.
