I'm considering buying one for my wife and I.

I've never seen a Newmar so I don't know the details. I do know that they use the smallest available RV shell, so the interior will be smaller than some other brands. I know they have a full-time tech, and have made the decision to purchase from an independent RV dealer (not a franchise) who is based in my state, so there is a personal level of support I don't get from the factory. If these are the pros, then I think it is worth the premium price.

I was looking for a used one in our price range, but now the prices are much higher than I was willing to pay. A couple of things to consider. They are known to have quality problems, so make sure that you have your eyes wide open and don't buy one that looks good on the outside, but has issues inside. Newmar also uses aluminum for the chassis which some people find heavy and hard to move. If you are going tow, they may not be able to handle that much weight. They are less likely tow with a motorhome. Thanks for all the information. I'm not sure why I haven't heard about these motorhomes before.

That's exactly what I was thinking. For what they offer, I'm not sure I could justify paying that price.

Does Newmar make a 30 foot motorhome?

I am looking at the new 2025 newmar for sale online for the 29 foot and 32 foot with a motor option. How many of the options are available? Can I get this in CA, do I need the motor options and does it have a tow package? Thanks.
Yes, they do. The 29 and 32 foot models already come with a motor option. You will need to get a factory quoted MSRP, but a good dealer should not be too far off.

This would be for a full-width (no interior partitions) motorhome and a couple of options (tow vehicle, aircon, maybe a little more room for people). If it's in your budget, you'll probably want it. You might want to drive it first and make sure you like it before finalizing a contract.

They all have air conditioning, tow package, etc., but if you're looking for something that can be customized, you're going to be hard-pressed to find something comparable to the new Newmar. Not that other manufacturers' models don't come close, but they're missing an important or two.

The Newmar is the best motorhomes in its class in my opinion. However, the price was a bit high for me, so I didn't buy one (just ordered a '09 model because it was still cheap then), even though my wife wanted one.and now she's asking for a new Newmar! So, we'll see what happens.

Yes, you can tow it by yourself. They recommend that you have the tow vehicle available, however. All you have to do is put it in low gear and put your car into a lower gear. I own one and I towed our RV with it a couple of times without a problem. Also, you can do it in reverse if you do not have high speed forward.

I would say the most popular is the Newmar Legacy. They have a couple of other models as well, but the Legacy is the most popular.

They are manufactured in the USA and are made to be very good quality, very sturdy and reliable. The problem I see with them is they tend to be expensive.00 and that's just not in the budget of most RVers.

The next closest to the Legacy is the Newmar Liberty which is also made in the USIt's more like a motorhome and tends to be more like a house on wheels. It's a little smaller than the Legacy and will sleep 6 people.

There are other manufacturers out there such as Forest River, Thor, Tiffin, Winnebago, Forest River/Forestry, etc. I'd suggest the Newmar Legacy because it's the best RV for most people and it's available in different lengths. If you are in the market for an RV, you'll find the Legacy to be a good choice.

I have a Newmar Legacy and I love it. It is everything you want in an RV. It is very spacious, well built, has excellent amenities and just overall is a great RV. You have to look into the size of it, however. If you go too large, it will be too much of an oversized RV. If you go too small, it will be too cramped for even a small family. The standard Newmar Legacy is a great size and is ideal for families.

We have a 2025 Legacy G2 and it's an absolutely wonderful RV. We're so happy we bought it. It's exactly what were looking for and we couldn't be happier.

We were looking for a coach that was just a little bigger than a 5th wheel. We found exactly what were looking for in the Newmar Legacy.

I'm a former Marine and we had some pretty high expectations. The fact is, we were not disappointed with our purchase at all. We found that the Legacy has every amenity you could want in a coach and has plenty of room to add or subtract additional amenities if you desire.
