What is the best selling Newmar motorhome?

What is the top selling Airstream motorhome?
I know the Airstreams sell but I don't know the Newmar motorhomes or any other brands sell well in your areas. For a motorhome, what are the advantages and disadvantages of an enclosed type motorhome vs an open type of motorhome? Is the size of the motorhome really the only thing that matters? For example, would an enclosed 10x12x8 enclosed class a class of anything like that? Thanks for the input. I know it's a tough question, but it would be interesting to see a list. I know I'll get killed off, so I'll save you the trouble of putting together a top ten. The most popular: Newmar Class C motorhome. Next most popular: Winnebago Safari.e. 3rd most popular: Leisure Systems Visteon Lazy T. 4th most popular: Tiffin Visteon/Chevy Motorhome. Least popular: Monaco travel trailer by Tiffin (The one I currently have). What do I mean by open-top - most are either covered or not covered? That's not the way I would go about choosing: (and if someone could please correct me on this): Choose one and make it perfect! Go through each manufacturer and find out what they have that you would want. Choose two. (I know, it's like picking your favorite candy, isn't it?) "What do you mean I can't ride my motorcycle!" - George Costanza. OK. Let me qualify that statement. There are 5 top selling Newmar's. But each one of them is available in a "Open" model or "Covered" model.

I'm also going to qualify the statement by saying that, by definition, an "open" model is not covered, while a "Covered" model is. A "covered" model (the kind with windows that roll down and back up) might be defined as being open in some states. Other than that, I could probably say more.

What are the recalls on Newmar motorhomes?

It has come to our attention that Newmar Motorhomes is recalling certain 2025 and 2025 motorhomes. These can be identified by their model number, either MHX1603 (2016) or MHX1703 (2017). According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), a recall was issued on July 4, 2025, for certain 2025 and 2025 model motorhomes sold in the U.

Our consumer-facing website is currently unavailable as we are reviewing our product recall process. Please send questions to [email protected] or call 888.505.4232. For motorhome sales inquiries call 818.834.4205.

Why is there a NHTSA recall on Newmar motorhomes? The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) issued a recall for Newmar's 2025 and 2025 models MHX1603 and MHX1703. This recall includes model numbers N1604, N1605, N1702, N1704 and N1707. The NHTSA website listed improperly applied sealant among the hazards which have caused safety risks to the NHTSWhat is the improperly applied sealant in the recall?

We understand that the sealant application process will vary from installer to installer but the way the NHTSA describes it is for motorhome owners to check the underside of their motorhomes to see if it is applied on any unsealed surfaces. If the sealant has not been applied correctly, we may face a loss of structural integrity in the vehicle.

What should I do if I find that the sealant is not applied correctly on my 2025 or 2025 Newmar model? We urge you to check the underside of your motorhome to determine if it is properly sealed or not. If you find that it is not properly sealed and your concerns are valid then you need to contact Newmar Motorsports' customer service department at 818.

In this situation, we strongly recommend that you call a professional to repair the defect. Some of these repairs will involve cutting and replacing some of the sheet metal below the floor level on your motorhome.

Why are new motorhomes so expensive?

used newmar motorhomes for sale Why are new motorhomes so expensive?

So we now have some real numbers to compare new motorhomes with used examples as, in the past, there's been uncertainty and guessing involved. While there are new and old hometowners and used hometowners, they tend not to go shopping for a used vehicle or a used motorhome - and, I don't know where that comes from! - people who do look for a used motorhome aren't so keen on buying a brand-new example that will cost them in excess of 100,000. There are many reasons for this including: there's more information now available as to what these vehicles really cost to purchase; buyers may no longer be getting financing at carvey rates and banks; and, perhaps most of all, the motorhome market has increased in size in the past five years.

However, it seems that many new and used buyers/owners of new motorhomes are confused about what they get and what they can usefully do with their purchase. This is understandable but often leads to much dissatisfaction when they eventually buy their vehicle.

It is important that you go to look for a quality second hand motorhome at fair prices. This has to be done with full information and a good knowledge of the types of vehicles under consideration. It has become rather tricky because new motorhomes are a much tougher market than used motorhomes and, at the same time, it's also easier for buyers to come to a decision. If, for instance, you are trying to choose between a Ford Discovery Class C and a Toyota QX-2, it can take days - or maybe even weeks - for a good used motorhome buyer to work out whether or not it makes financial sense to pay for the privilege of buying it. There are several key questions that potential buyers need to consider:

A) Does it make sense to get into a brand-new motorhome now, even though its final selling price is well above the purchase price of a used example? b) Is the financial investment made now going to pay off, compared to the cost of a used example which has seen the sun several times? c) How does getting an extended warranty benefit you? Or, should it? d) Can you get a trade-in? Will you get a trade-in?
