What is the most luxurious Ford Focus?
What's the difference between Focus ST line and st line x?
The only difference I can see is that the st line x has a bigger battery. Do they have different motors, too? What's the difference? I'm having a hard time deciding what to buy, and am trying to figure out if there is any difference between the two lines. I will be buying one of these in the next month or two. It is just so much better than my old Focus ST.
I'm really torn on what I should buy. On one hand, I want the biggest power of all. On the other hand, I want the easiest drive for all the kids to learn with.
If you're a new owner of a ST, then the st is perfect for your needs. However, if you've already owned a Focus ST, then it's a little more complicated.
There are a few things to consider. First off, how fast does the car run? Is it an everyday car, or do you plan on taking it to the track? I am taking it to the track and I'm planning to go to some drag races with it. I do plan on driving it daily as well. The car is going to be used to race my friends' and family's cars in quarter mile drag racing.

Does the Ford Focus ST line X have a sunroof?

Technology reporter, BBC News, Los Angeles Published duration 7 March 2026. Image copyright Focus Line X image caption The Ford Focus ST's sunroof is available in black or white. After spending hours in the back of a car park on a recent road trip, I decided to ask you, the focus.net readers, if you can afford the new Ford Focus ST. It is more expensive than the old model but does it have a sunroof?
Do you get all the tech that makes a modern family car stand out against its more humble contemporaries? image copyright Getty Images image caption A new Ford Focus ST has a 1.0-litre petrol engine Ford calls the 2026 Focus ST a "mid-engined two-door" - not a traditional front-wheel drive but something that sits between the front and rear of the production car's engine. It's like a traditional car inside and outside, because it is one, and you will know it has "front-wheel drive" like you know your left foot goes inside and out - unless you are sitting in the back of a taxi with the sunroof open.
A Focus ST will come with six-speed manual gearbox for the 2.0-litre direct injected Ecoboost petrol engine, which cranks out 208bhp, or seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission or electric motor. In a test drive of the car on a track, an engineer told me he had to switch to the automatic because the steering wheel was too light. There are adaptive cruise control, hill hold, stop start and lane keep assistance systems all on board. There are leather seats and lots of soundproofing - but only if you take off the sunroof, so forget that. It is a 30 piece of aluminium.
What else would I want? The question is rhetorical; I'd want most of those features and plenty more that aren't. I'm guessing the ST isn't cheap, and that was part of its charm when people started asking about it in the 1970s. The original ST was much admired for the way it looked and its combination of simple engine and good handling, and people were attracted by the fact that all those things happened at once.
