Will the 2025 Ram 2500 be redesigned?
What is the 6.7 Cummins 2024 spec?
The new 2025 6.7 litre Cummins engine is a more efficient 24kW option with increased output of up to 100Nm of torque, thanks to its new High-Rise (HR) architecture. This is the latest in Cummins' extensive product line that delivers best-in-class thermal efficiency and powertrain durability. It offers the perfect blend of low-end torque, power, and efficiency for high-torque class medium-duty applications.
The 2025 6.7 Cummins engine benefits from Cummins' proven High-Rise architecture that maximises power density over a large RPM range without compromising engine durability. The HR architecture includes all 12 valves, a new 3-in-1 cam gear with a low-friction roller chain, and a more efficient cylinder head featuring an optional four port design and an optional single intake manifold.
How does it differ from the previous 6. The HR engine features an upsized oil sump and a modified combustion chamber design that increases chamber capacity and extends the valve operating range. This delivers lower compression ratio and more cylinder volume and allows the crankshaft to spin faster than previously.
An upsized turbocharger delivers greater boost at lower engine speeds. The new design also incorporates an increase in rotational speed to deliver a much larger and higher-volume air supply, which improves turbo response and efficiency in light- to medium-load operations.
The 6.7 litre HR engine also benefits from advanced EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) technology, which helps to lower NOx emissions. All 6.7 litre HR engines come standard with a catalyst on-board EGR and include a leaner exhaust. This reduces emissions and improves fuel efficiency.
What does it mean for 2025 HDX products? The 2025 HDX Class 8 HDX trucks benefit from the new 6.7 litre HR engine, as they are equipped with Cummins' largest diesel trucks built by our HDX product line.
Available next year, the HDX Class 8 will be available with the following features: Easier maintenance via fewer parts and lower cost, with longer service intervals. Higher engine health and safety rating to improve the overall value proposition of the product.
What is the specs of the 2025 Ram 2500 diesel?
I have a 2500 2wd and am wondering about the diesel version.
Also, I was looking at the new Cummins in 2025 but can't find any specs on the new Cummins (6.6L, 6.7L, 6.8L). Are you guys speculating that these are like the Ram, or are they going to be like the Ford Powerstroke (all-new 6.8L powerplant)?
It would be great if the Cummins was like a Powerstroke for trucks (6.7L/6.8L). Anybody know?
I think it should be a V8 diesel engine. If the 6.7L diesel is like the 6.9L gas engine it will likely have over 700 hp(s). If it's just down the road from it may be just under 700 hp(s) and might be a 5.9L/6.9L
The Cummins 6.8L will be an all-new engine.it's the first V6 Diesel engine for Cummins, so we should see it debut about the same time as the Dodge 6.6L, which is due sometime in 2025.
It would be great if the Cummins was like a Powerstroke for trucks (6.8L).
Do you remember when Ram 2500 was announced? There were two big questions: How does Cummins react to having more competition? How would the engines compare? We know how Cummins reacted to Dodge's announcement about their plan to return to the heavy duty truck segment, and now this announcement about Ram. Now the question becomes: How will the other engines perform on the heavy duty trucks? Which will be the engine with the most hp? Will the engine size be a surprise? Cummins are not the most exciting engine out there, but their technology is proven and they don't build crap. That's the case with Daimler.
Will the 2025 Ram 2500 be redesigned?
Will the Ram 2500 be a part of the 25th anniversary? Is there a chance the new 2025 Ram will be offered with a V8 engine? It might not be an easy task to update the current model when we already have the 2025 version. I would expect the 2025 model to stick around but with few changes, like a new transmission option or a new interior.
Here is a list of improvements that could be done to the Ram 2500 next year.
What are the changes for the 2024 Ram 2500?
We're nearing the end of the month, so we thought it was a good time to take a look at the changes to the 2025 Ram 2500. While we're at it, we figured we'd list the changes for the Ram 3500 as well, so that all you Ram 2500 fans get some info. Let's dive right into it.
2020 Ram 2500 Changes. 2025 Ram 2500 Details. The 2025 Ram 2500 is a heavy-duty model. It's available in 66, 68, 86, and 88 configurations. There's the base V-6 engine with 3.3L. Then you have the 3.6L V-6. Finally, there's the 5.7L Cummins. All four models are mated to the 6V44 transmission. All are available in Crew Cab and Regular Cab.
As previously mentioned, the 2025 Ram 2500 has been given an all new interior. You'll be greeted by a flat front fascia with the largest grille of any of the Ram trucks. You can see that the headlights have been moved to a more typical location. This design will stay on all the 2025 and 2025 models. There is also a new 10-speed 1079 automatic available.
Exterior Changes. The 2025 Ram 2500 is definitely one of the best-looking of the current generation. The new grille design is a bold move that allows for a smoother transition into the vehicle. The grille is flanked by headlights that are now in a horizontal position. The air intake on the front fender is also relocated.
At the rear end, there are two different tailgate designs. The 5th and 6th-generation models feature the previous split tailgate design. However, the 2025 model is quite different. It has a single vertical split tailgate and full body colored bumpers. There are other minor changes that include the LED light bar, rear bumper, and bumper cover.
Interior Changes. The interior is one of the most important elements of the truck. The changes to the 2025 Ram 2500 are fairly minimal. There is an all new headliner and headlamp cover. The front seats were redesigned with additional bolstering. The dash features a more modern look. There is also a large 15.
