Toyota sets its sights on the Family in 2013

The Japanese carmaker is attempting to increase their coverage of the market for compact cars by releasing their compact MPV, the Verso, and the Auris in early 2013. Other models being released by Toyota around the same time are the Auris Touring Sports estate car, and of course the fourth-generation RAV4, as mentioned before.

The new Verseo model, which was first seen in September at the Paris motor show, has had its looks completely upgraded. Along with newly-designed wheels and new door mirrors, over 300 changes have been made in the vehicle's design, such as a narrower upper grille that now comes full-width, and newly-edged headlamps. The Verseo will also come in three different editions - the Active, Icon, and Excel.
