I just read a thing on a Dallas radio station that said, "The last name of the new owners is Pascual, which is the Spanish word for 'raider,' which is a tribute to the original Mavericks name." It's paired with a six-speed manual gearbox that can shift from first to fifth in 8.3 seconds. Fuel economy is claimed to between 45.1mpg and 47.5mpg.

The biggest news here is a brand new body shell and more room inside. As well as extra space around the wheel arches and a slightly longer wheelbase, there's a large boot of 603 litres that offers 12.8cu ft of capacity (compared to 10.3cu ft).
