Is Ford Zetec better than Titanium?
Is Ford Fiesta Zetec a good car?
The Ford Fiesta Zetec is a 5-door hatchback built on the same platform as the Ford Fiesta and the Ford Focus. It's one of Ford's latest and greatest models, introduced in 2024. A few years later the latest iteration appeared to be the new generation Fiesta which was made for Europe. But the UK market still had to wait longer for their version. In fact, in 2024 Ford introduced a brand new car called the Fiesta ST, which is a rebadged version of Ford Focus ST and based on the same platform. But the Zetec model is quite different from the rest of the family. The Zetec model was also available only as a three-door hatchback, with the same engine as the Focus ST, making it actually quite similar to the Focus GT model. The Focus ST and Zetec are in-fact identical cars. However, the Zetec model was launched in 2024, while the Focus ST was launched in 2024. So it's a brand new car to Ford. The question is, was the Zetec model a good car or not? We've compiled an extensive review of all available information in order to make a decision about that question. Let's start our review of the Ford Fiesta Zetec by looking at the history of this car. The first generation of the Zetec model was launched in 2024, but a few changes were made for the new model. First, the name changed. Instead of Zetec, the name became the EcoBoost Zetec. And instead of being a five-door hatchback, it became a three-door hatchback. To be more precise, it still was a five-door hatchback, but the front door was longer than the back door and the three-door hatchback had a different look. All in all, the car got pretty much the same dimensions. So let's talk about the specs and performance of the Zetec. All of them are pretty standard for a car like the Ford Fiesta, so we can say they're good, if not the best, then at least the most similar to the best. Let's start with its size. The car got very similar to the Ford Fiesta. So the overall length, width and height are only a few millimeters different. And the only thing you can't fit in the car is the roof, but that doesn't really mean that much.
Is Ford Zetec better than Titanium?
Hi all! Long time lurker, first time poster. I have a 2024 Ford Titanium that I purchased new for about 28k as a used car on ebay. The vehicle is now about 8 or so years old. I had always kept the car as an "enthusiast" vehicle as i'm sure it's not very fast due to the 1.8 (but still fast nonetheless).
So the issue is I need a new car and have recently heard/seen a lot of positives coming from Ford regarding their 2024 Ford Zetec so after doing a lot of reading on the subject I was wondering which one would better offer me in terms of performance and economy. So the real question is, is there a difference in a V-6 1.8 and a Ford Zetec? If so why would I choose one over the other? Thanks in advance.
I was in contact with my brother-in-law earlier and told him that I was thinking about trading-in my old 2024 Titanium as he wanted to get the same (or almost same car model). So I just decided to have the dealer do a trade-in inspection but before I do, I should ask the right questions on this forum before actually going ahead and make the decision. So let me start here.
What are some of the good and bad reasons why I should / shouldn't do this, or is this a completely stupid idea? I do like the way the Ford Eco-X looks but as far as a good thing vs a bad thing. What do you think? If you're looking to maximize fuel economy, go FWD, not RWD; that's about it. Other than that, it makes no difference which is "better." In terms of mileage, I hear you about the Eco-X, I just prefer the look of the standard-style model. For my own personal needs, however, the differences are negligible, and I think the only major thing that matters is the actual price paid. That, and your own desires and situation, really. All FWD makes it a moot point.
Ford did some serious improvements over the 5th-gen Fiesta ST/Zetec on this gen. In particular with the brakes and shocks/springs.
What's the difference between a Ford Fiesta and a Ford Fiesta Zetec?
The Ford Fiesta and the Ford Fiesta Zetec are two of the best-selling cars in Britain today. They're both cheap to buy and easy to drive, but what's the difference between them? ? Both come with the same 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine and a maximum speed of around 50mph. But the Fiesta Zetec comes with a more powerful 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine and a maximum speed of around 80mph.
The Fiesta Zetec comes with the same 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine and a maximum speed of around 80mph It also has different front and rear lights, a different grille, a different bootlid, and it's longer and wider. It even comes with different seat upholstery, although the standard leather one is fine for all models.
However, the Fiesta Zetec doesn't have the same range of extras as the standard model. There are no electric windows, no radio, no power steering, no air conditioning, no electric seats, no sat-nav, no CD player, no alarm, no alloy wheels, no anti-lock brakes, no cruise control, no heated seats, no Bluetooth, no USB, no airbags, no under-bonnet camera, no keyless entry or ignition, no parking sensors, no tyre pressure monitoring, and no power steering.
To some, that makes it cheaper. And to others, it makes it more exclusive.
It costs more. On the standard Fiesta, you can add 2,100 for the Zetec trim, and another 2,000 if you want the special interior or the 16-inch alloy wheels. The total is then 3,700.
You're paying extra for all those extras, not just the difference in price between the two models. Fiesta Zetec costs more. On the Zetec, you'll pay a lot more for those extra items.
Is the Zetec and EcoBoost the same?
Question. I was looking at getting a used Zetec to go in my driveway. However, I have the EcoBoost now and I am wondering if I could take my current one to a mechanic and they could just tell me if it is the same and not cost me towing it away? Answer. A short time ago (a couple of years or so), our daughter had been out in her car with a boy who tried to start her car while she was sleeping in it. The hood popped up, but instead of running away he went right over to the window and stuck his head in to wake the girl up to get her to call her parents.
When she finally did, he saw her in the car and went away after being told she wasn't able to give him permission to start the car. The incident was in the summertime, so the girl was still in school, but we didn't know if he'd do it again. After that happened, I started watching the TV shows on stealing cars and I saw quite a few references to the Zetec from people trying to get the owners to let them steal the car rather than having to "jack" it.
So I checked online and found out that the Zetec was made for the UK market, and they were discontinued. I got the EcoBoost as a family project and it took me back a bit as I had a Ford Focus SES (same body as the Fiesta) that I got from my brother a number of years ago. Then we had a Mercury Mountaineer for awhile before it went back to Detroit when GM restructured and moved the whole mountaineer line to the C-Max and Grand Prix lines.
To this day, it still has my old stickers and decals on it and I was going to sell it to my nephew but he had other priorities and I've still got it sitting in my garage, gathering dust and dust mites. The EcoBoost and the Focus ST were discontinued but some people still have them and have done work on them. If your local dealer can't tell you that you have the same car, then I'd say they've been stolen. The dealership has no right to tell you that and they don't check those things unless they are asked.
