How much does a Freightliner M2 106 weigh?
How much does a freightliner weigh empty?
With modern diesels today weighing about 30,000 lbs. empty, it is a big expense tow them, particularly if you have to haul. Them over a load of dirt roads and a short railroad. I am a freightliner owner, and have been hauling them for a long time. I would love to know how much they weigh, at least once. And for that matter, does it make a difference with all the modern railroading. Technology that is out there today? There is a ton of steel in. A freightliner, and I would like to know how much of it is steel. And how much is aluminum? Is there any benefit at all to carrying. So much steel? The following are the specs from a typical (non special) freightliner. Taken from the NCSF website. These specifications are what we all know as freightliners, which include all the new flatbeds built. Over the last 10 years. Total weight- 29,098 kg. (64,715 lb.)
Diameter (OD) at wheelbase - 1.7 m (5 ft. 2 in.)
Maximum Load- 29,100 kg (63,100 lb. wheelbase (BWB) - 1.3 m (4 ft. 11/16 in.)
Turning circle - 3.7 m (12 ft.)
Fuel Capacity - 4,300 liters (1,215 U. Gal.)
The weights quoted above are those of the trailer, not the contents. It is quite possible to put a thousand pounds of steel in a trailer. And still not meet the weight limit of the truck. My trailer has a gross weight of 29,100 kg, and does not violate the weight limit. To answer the question, "?": First thing you have to figure out is how many square feet of. Steel are in a freightliner. You'll need a calculator to do it, but let's just say there is a truck-load. Next you have to decide if you're going to use the gross or the net weight to calculate. How much weight you'll have in the trailer.

What is the GVW of a Freightliner business class M2 106?
I don't believe there is an official standard for this, so this will be a combination of how you would guess the weight and how it actually feels. A good rule of thumb is to make sure your tires are up to temperature and you're wearing seat belts.
Most likely 1.5k - 1.75k, depending on what cargo is inside of it.
The "freightliner heavy steel truck" is basically what they call the business class of the medium sized tractor with the larger engines and 6 speed transmission, which usually comes from Germany and not Mexico (where other models come from). They also added a full size step at the back of the trailer for loading, which helps with loading cargo that doesn't fit in the box or bed of the trailer. They also add a full size hydraulic hitch to raise the trailer for the loading and unloading of cargo.
