What brands does Forest River own?
Does Thor own Heartland?
Yes or no? That is the question! He would own it if it had been acquired by his team, or at least he'd have a claim to it after the end of the war that killed his father. So he owns it now and doesn't want to cede anything to anyone! He would be wrong, and would be a fool. For any of these reasons he has some very valuable things that he needs to hold onto and that is why he is not selling any of them or giving them away!
So as far as Thor owning it, there's about twenty reasons why he doesn't. He could sell it again; this time for real, or put it on sale and let it go. It would go, but only if someone was going to pay real cash money for it which he isn't doing now. Someone else would buy it with the money he just got, and we're all happy then. Maybe Thor could give it to his team. If he could work out how to do it without making someone get a bonus!
For the most part he has not yet shown us all he is capable of, or at least he's not done it to date. He can still get better at many things, and you'll be seeing more of him soon enough! Oh! One thing I should have made clear: We don't want them in their home countries. We want them with other people.
You're supposed to know stuff like that! If you didn't know that I should have said something about it before! Thor: "I was hoping my new teammates would share my love of adventure!". This would be from an interview in some magazine. "What's next Thor?". Thor: "It's back to reality for now." A quote from an interview. "Thor, are you saying the way things are going there's no way you'll meet us in Midgard?". One could assume this means Thor won't end up on another team that could help him get around. He could also mean that he's not going to be seen traveling to earth, or being in one team. (Which could lead to speculation about him not really wanting to travel into his home turf.) Or he's just keeping it simple!
Does Warren Buffett own Forest River?
Maybe his company, Berkshire Hathaway, is behind the latest in a series of lawsuits accusing the company of fraud. This is the second installment in a four-part series on corporate fraud and how to detect it. For the first story, see Part 1.
That's a big deal. As Warren Buffett might tell you, anything with the words restate and annual in it is pretty important, even if you aren't a rich guy.
But wait, there's more! The company was also being sued. Forest River's legal problems had been reported in the financial press for the last few years usually in stories about Buffett's company, Berkshire Hathaway, buying a lot of Forest River trailers. But what's happening at Forest River is much more serious: According to reports, Forest River is making an aggressive lawsuit attempt to hold everyone connected to the company accountable for allegedly understating inventory.
If true, it would be a serious blow to any company that relies on timely delivery of goods from another company for its bottom line. It can mean big headaches for the company, but it means millions in profits for Forest River.
Fraud and the Lawsuit. In some ways this case is nothing new. Alleged fraud in companies is nothing new. What's new here is that most of the alleged fraud isn't being done by outside consultants but by insiders within the company. That is a major difference. So although the case involves only some financial accounting issues, those issues alone could have serious implications for the company.
Forest River's problems started five years ago. Back then, it was dealing with two lawsuits. One was alleging theft; the other was alleging fraud. The settlement was made public during a legal proceeding in May 2024, but I didn't learn of it until mid-2008.
Who makes Forest River Sunseeker?
It's the one thing that has been on the mind of all of us who use Forest River's new Sunseeker brand since its introduction at the 2024 North American International Auto Show. The question of who actually manufactures the Sunseeker brand is finally answered with this week's issue of MotorHome.
You can learn more about the Sunseeker brand here, but we'll give you a brief summary of what you need to know. The Sunseeker brand is a high-end brand for Forest River, which was created with the intention offering a more upscale product to the RV industry. This will be marketed to a broader audience than what's currently available from Forest River.
The Sunseeker name comes from its namesake, the Sunseeker Yacht. The yacht was a concept car designed by Dieter Zetsche, chairman of Daimler AG, the parent company of Mercedes-Benz. The Sunseeker was meant to be the luxury vehicle of the future. It was introduced in 1988 and was intended to revolutionize the automobile industry. However, it never really caught on with the public.
It's easy to see why the Sunseeker brand didn't catch on, as it's not easy to imagine what it would have looked like. It was meant to be the top-of-the-line luxury vehicle. It was built on a Mercedes-Benz chassis and was to be a 4-door sedan, 2-seat coupe and 2-seat convertible. Its design was meant to be a futuristic look, with a swooping roofline, wide wheels, and the look of a fighter jet. It's unlikely that it would have been any kind of success in the auto industry.
The Sunseeker was just a concept car that never made it past the concept stage. It was meant to show what a luxury vehicle could be in the future. It was too futuristic for the public to accept and that led to its failure. As a result, the Sunseeker brand died a quick death.
Now, Forest River has decided to resurrect the Sunseeker brand as a high-end product for RVs. What's interesting is that it's based on a German manufacturer's idea. Forest River is going to use the Sunseeker brand to offer a premium product for RVs. They're doing this by building a new RV, which will be called the Sunseeker Tandem.
