The consortium consists of several Chinese firms including state-owned Shanghai-based Foton (which is also the owner of Dongfeng Motor Co), Changan Ford Automobile and Tianjin Lishen.
The new owners are expected to be incorporated in China and will retain the Iveco name, although they are unlikely to keep it in its current form. The new owners will be able to operate the Iveco brand from their own plants, which would mean that the Iveco factory at Basingstoke in Hampshire would be closed down. Although Iveco has faced increasing competition from truck makers in China, the company has enjoyed a decent market share in Europe because it is much cheaper to build trucks in the UK than in Europe. The company has always maintained a strong focus on developing products for its own European customers and has even developed its own trucks and vans for the French market.
The company's European operations will be transferred to a new holding company called Iveco Industrial Vehicle Holding, which will be owned by the consortium of Chinese companies.

Are they similar to Caterpillar engine lines and do they share the same parts? Im looking at buying one but the price is not too favorable, so I was just curious if there are a lot of other vehicles that use the same type of engines. Iveco: Caterpillar: I have a 2023 Chevy suburban 3 wheel hitch on it now, I want to replace it with an off road one. Any recomended brand of front 3 axle 4 wheel drives? Is the one with the two different drive axle system for off road use or a dual axle type one? Which one do you prefer? Do they have similar specs? The other one I like is KW VF9L6.
We got this trailer last week, and it has been great! It came with tires that were way too small, which caused a lot of problems when we started driving it out. After taking those tires to the tire store, they told us they needed to be replaced, which meant buying whole new wheels and tires, since we had to get new wheelsets as well. Now everything is good!
This trailer comes with: 2x 20" HD steel wheels. 4x 40" steel wheels (front two). 4x 20" aluminum truck wheels (front 2). 2x 10x40" black wall tires (front two). 2x 12x45" HD steel (rear two). 2x 15x50" HD steel (rear two). This trailer can go up to 35 MPH, with a total weight capacity of 1,100 lbs. this thing really needs to be hauled at night, and with the new batteries, the lights run better than ever.
Now for my questions: How much did it cost to replace those tires? Are the wheels the same size, or is there going to be a difference in size (in diameter or width)? Can someone help me look up pictures of the trailer on Google Images, or something? I am trying to learn the specifications and looks of the trailer. Thanks!

The history of Iveco traces back to 1895 when two Italian brothers, Guido and Giovanni Iveco, founded a motor vehicle company.
