Where is the Nationwide head office?
What is the number for 0800-055-66-22?
The number to call is actually: 0800-055-66-22. But if you call that number, the woman who answered said she would call me back. She never called back. So I thought you guys might be able to help me.
I am calling about the number 0800-055-66-22. The person who answers the phone says it's a free number in the U. But the caller ID says it's a different country. It's a landline phone number in India. And this may be a long shot but I have to ask it. I wonder if India actually makes cell phones and if they even use those numbers.
Does anyone know if this number is legit and if so, can I somehow confirm that this is the type of phone they use? If it's a scam what should I do? How can I confirm that it's not a scam? Maybe somebody out there has heard of this number and could help me out? What would you do? The number can also be a toll-free number, meaning the caller doesn't pay for the actual cost to call. But if you call from outside the U., it usually will appear as a local number on your caller ID so that you know your caller is trying to deceive you.
It's an India call center. They probably don't even make their own phones, nor do they use cell phone or Internet services. Their business model is to collect phone bills from foreign businesses.
"Hi.e. You have got a number 0800-55-6588 which was used to call you. To confirm if the caller is correct and legal, I'm going to request some details of you so I can find out who actually owns that number. Please reply. Thank you."
If there was a way to show who owned the number of course. That would be helpful. But they never told me who owned the number. And they never asked me to verify the number or respond to any questions.
So I am contacting you. Just wanted to say thanks for your help. The woman who called me didn't use her name on the phone so I wasn't sure who was calling. I think I just had some luck, I hope.

How do I make a complaint to Nationwide?
Complaints regarding faulty workmanship can be made to the insurer of your car in the form of a claim, so long as you have complied with the terms and conditions of your policy. You must make a claim within 12 months from the day your car is completed. If your car has been taken out of the hands of the hire company and you are looking to have the fault repaired, make a claim within 6 months of completing the work.
You can also use our online complaints facility at www.yourcar.com/complain or by calling our Customer Service team on 0800 888 980.
I paid to have the car repaired. Who pays? When making a claim, we pay to have the fault rectified as soon as it is established. The vehicle owner must take care of the damage to their car, including paying for any replacement parts needed to rectify the fault. A hire company is responsible for any damage caused to a vehicle by their driver. This includes any damage caused when the hire company is not at fault for the collision.
The hire company should have insurance that will cover this if it is their hire car. What if I receive no response from Nationwide? If you don't receive a response within 14 days from the date you submitted your complaint, then we will look into the complaint. If you are still not satisfied with the response you have received, we will request the relevant insurer of your car to carry out a repair. We will then pass this information onto them.
What if the insurer does not look at my complaint? If the insurer does not respond to your complaint, then we will contact them directly to ask them to consider your complaint further. They have 90 days to respond, but we may contact them again to check whether they have received your complaint. If we hear nothing after a second request, or if we have not received a response to your complaint after 30 days, we will treat your complaint as closed and send a formal letter to the insurer asking them to agree to pay for the fault to be fixed. Why has the insurer not responded? There may be reasons why they have not responded to your complaint. Have you been given a response to your complaint? Contact us for more details or request an informal resolution service.
