What is better Scania or man?

What is better Scania or man?

What is better Scania or man?

(A new survey says I want your baby)

I was browsing on the Scania Website and came across this survey What is better - a woman or a man? They have also asked a question on Facebook whether you'd rather be An entrepreneur with his own team, having the option to set his own hours, or A Scania driver taking the wheel of a truck in Scandinavia at home every day. And I couldn't resist replying. So here goes: Dear Scania. If my life were measured in years, as is often the case, I would be more than ready to retire. But if measured by days or even months, I know that I am not there yet. Besides, how old are you guys? I think you are too young to have children and have seen a few things already, you understand the world like none other and are still dreaming, no?

I love children and I love travelling, especially by car. You know, I started off with a van, then an UTV and finally a semi-trailer. My dream is to have a family, a big family, to travel together all over the world as one happy and well-fed family. I will have my children sleep in one bedroom, where I am working as a freelance journalist, and the rest of the world is sleeping and resting while my kids are out riding their bikes, or swimming, or getting dirty outside. It's something nice to dream about.

It's an ideal scenario, and it sounds exciting to get up in the morning and go anywhere, and do what you want, said Jens Trolle, Scania's Director of Product Development. All of us feel something of a bit like a child when we drive the new Scania XC90, just like the kids that we see sitting in our new Scania XC90 when we go for a test drive.

But first of all, please could you make me an independent contractor, so that I can travel anywhere I want, whenever I want? Secondly, if you would allow me to, I would love to have the same opportunity to choose to work from home, like any single or part time employee.

Why is Scania so good?

Because, for the first time ever. In terms of my whole career. I can come back to the UK as a professional driver. And be at the top of my sport. And it's like a dream. I don't think I could really believe it. You know, if you are not at the top. Of your sport at all times. There is no reason. Why you have to stop, right? So, we go into testing today. And we know what we have got to do. And we are prepared to go through the pain. And it's like I have not been in a car. For more than two years. So we're about to start testing. And I'm a bit excited, you know. We've had so much fun before. But we've never done this before. And it has always been the other way around. But I just hope I can show the other side. Because I haven't been. And I am really excited. Because you know. I've done so many tests in my life. And I just don't think that it would've gone that well. I am really happy that it has because I was feeling. Like this car was not even good, right? And then on the second day. It was like, well, okay, actually this car. Is amazing, so there is really something. Something special with this car. And the last test, on the third day. That was the best part of it all. But the test just started after. I went there to sign for the team. And that was really intense, you know. And just waiting for two days to start a test. Where you have done absolutely everything already. But in different ways. Is really difficult and scary. I have seen some videos of the track. And I have seen the team. And I have seen the stuff. I know it's gonna be really good. And the cars are not easy to drive either. But I was really positive from the beginning. Because I thought I will really like this. The day of testing finally came. And in the pit lane. I got an idea of how good a car this is. Just to put on the back of the car. I was pretty excited to test it. I wanted to feel the difference.

Which Scania is most reliable?

scania uk dealers Which Scania is most reliable?

We bought a 2025 Scania G340E in July 2025. We've had little or no problems excepting some rust which we fixed, but the last service was in August 2025 and we have not since had any issues whatsoever! The cab is quiet and the windscreens are clear! I love the engine noise and the torque at low rpms as it's so good for towing! There's also one of those little light on the console to indicate if the air conditoner has dried up or frozen as this happens all too often! The best part though is all the storage space - it's like having another set of rear doors! A great tractor on a wide range of duties and very low mileage too. I bought this tractor in the spring of 2025 with just 8.5 hours on it. I am very pleased with my purchase and still am using the tractor about 4 times a week. It is still on its original tires. My favorite use of the tractor is plowing the driveway or pulling hay. However I have had it pulling large equipment around other buildings and making landings on the side of roads. One of the best benefits to this tractor is the ride it provides. The ride level makes it very comfortable for even longer trips in an open windowed position. The engine is a smooth and pleasant sounding, however it is a large displacement with more horse power than a standard garden tractor; it has enough power for me on average applications; it just does not have quite the torque of a diesel of course. The tractor drives well on many applications, including steep hills with no trouble and does not back up by choice on its own. This particular tractor does suffer from overheating when pushing too hard, and I have lost count of the times my wife and I have had to let it cool off after plowing heavy and especially wet snow; if it becomes too hot it may overheat sooner than just sitting too long.

All the features on this tractor are great. In addition to the normal features like a wide range speed control, there is also a reverse gear setting. There is an adjustment for this which allows for a reverse to turn up inclines up to 13 degrees; again, just one of the many plus features. The tractor also boasts a 5 degree slope angle adjustment. This feature alone is worth the price of this particular machine.
