New Ford Mondeo price lowered by over two grand

Auto-giant Ford have been busy making changes to it's current range, and an entry-level Mondeo is now over £2,000 cheaper than previously.

Whilst Ford is holding back it's all-new version of the Mondeo until spring 2014, a raft of changes and updates have been made to their current range, including lowering of prices, to keep up with the competition.

The Mondeo Graphite, the entry-level model, is now available for £15,995 new, which is £2,105 less than previously. Following on, the Mondeo Titanium X Business edition starts at £21,995, £1,500 less than the last Titanium X model.

Efficiency has been greatly improved with the 2.0 litre TDCi diesel engines powering the Mondeo. With changes to aerodynamics and calibrations, the engines now emit 10g/km of CO2 less than previous models, with emissions of 119g/km. This has also boosted fuel economy to 61.4 mpg, from 57.6 mpg.
