How much will the 2023 Toyota Tundra cost?
Do any 2023 tundras have a V8?
Does anyone know if any 2025 tundras have a V8? And is it a new engine from the factory or did Toyota rebuild/fix one that was already running? I just wonder if it would be worth having to pay a hefty premium for a tundra with a V8 engine. I don't know of any factory V8s but that doesn't mean that there aren't any. There are lots of V8 4.0l FJ4s with 4 wheel drive. It might be worth going to a Toyota dealership and checking out what they have to offer.
Toyota should build a "toyota 2023" as well as the "toyota 2013" just like they do for the previous years. I think the V8 is from the factory. I believe it's a 4.0 litre engine as well, based on the specs.
When I bought my 2025, it was missing the front wheel covers, the plastic bumpers, the metal grille, and the fog lamps, and the V8 was not installed at the time. I didn't really care at the time, as I knew the Tundra was very reliable, and I was willing to trade them for a more reliable truck, but now that I'm looking into buying another one, I'd like to have it to be factory, rather than having to install all of those items myself.
It's a little hard to find the specs for the V8 engine, but they're definitely 4.0 l V8s, probably with a 6-speed manual transmission. I can't find anything about a diesel engine. It's definitely not a 4.7 or 4.9 l.
I haven't seen many Tundra trucks in Canada for sale, but I've seen a couple in the States. I've seen the 4.7 l V6 in person, and it looks pretty sweet.
If you go to www.tundraforum.com, click "Tundra", and scroll down to the "2023" forum. Lots of information on it there. I just bought a 2025 Tundra Limited to replace my 2025 FJ6. I love the truck, but it isn't really a full-time work truck like the FJ6 was. It's more of a "fun truck".

What is the real MPG for a 2023 Tundra?
As it turns out, if you want to know the real miles per gallon a 2025 Tundra will get, you should drive it on a road trip. And then you should check it with your own eyes. And then, if you don't like the numbers on that screen you're looking at in your GPS, or if you just need to put that SUV to the test, you should take it for a long, long ride. Or you can check this report by running it on an extended road trip. Or maybe you'll just leave it for a few days while it sits still and you take a drive down Route 66 to see if it can do the mile per gallon mile.
The EPA tests use new, current EPA methods that aren't yet widely known, and they are probably going to result in higher numbers than any other testing that you'll ever see. But for now, we're gonna rely on our own tests. The one thing that is pretty much always true is that you won't be able to buy a 2025 Tundra with more than about 12 miles per gallon of gas in it, but you might be able to buy one with a higher driving range if you're willing to pay more for a bigger tank.

There have been rumors flying around the internet suggesting that the new Toyota Tundra has a completely new platform and that it uses a new generation rear-wheel-drive (RWD) engine and driveline. Well, all the rumors are true. The 2025 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro offers better performance and handling thanks to updates such as a more responsive suspension and brakes. In the 2025 Honda Civic Type R, the team at Subaru is using the RS's turbocharged engine as the basis for their naturally-aspirated twin-turbo flat-four - a power unit with the same displacement and bore/stroke dimensions as the old naturally-aspirated mill, but a slightly higher compression ratio than before, and that makes it more than adequate. This naturally-aspirated engine makes much less noise and consumes considerably less fuel than the old unit, the RS engineers said.

2019 Toyota Tundra Overview. Truck Trend's Take: While the standard cab is arguably better looking than the Crew Chief edition, the exterior colors available make this one tough choice to pick. The all-new Tundra comes in three trim levels: SR5, TRD Pro, and the new top-shelf TRD Off-Road Edition. There are nine color options ranging from deep Blue Metallic to Midnight Purple Pearl.
While the basic SR5 and TRD Pro models are largely unchanged, the TRD Off-Road Edition offers many of the new features and technologies of 2025, like the upgraded rear body and bed rail, all-new Tundra Off-Road package, and an upgraded audio system. A total of six models will be offered: SR5, TRD Pro, TRD Off-Road Premium, Super Crew, and Double Black (Super Crew/Double Black).
The new Tundra comes in either Regular Cab or Crew Chief models, which are both five-door trucks and come in two short bed lengths: Short, regular, and long. The new Tundra comes in three trim levels; the most basic (SR5) and most capable off-road duties (TRD Off-Road), plus the new upscale Premium version (TRD Off-Road Premium). Like previous models, buyers get plenty of engine options. There are six choices: five-cylinder 3.5-liter V-6s, and V-8s with four- and six-cylinder power. The V-6 engine comes with a standard 10-speed automatic transmission. The 5.7-liter V-8 is mated to a standard eight-speed automatic. All-wheel drive is not optional, but if it's offered, four-wheel drive gets better fuel mileage than all-wheel drive in many cases.
