Are Toyota Tacomas any good?

Are Toyota Tacomas any good?

Is Tacoma same as Hilux?

Are there any differences in quality/reliability? If anyone has a Hilux Tacoma can they please comment on it's reliability, maintenance costs etc.

I currently have a Tacoma with over 120k kms but can't justify upgrading. My truck is a 2023 and has only had one mechanical failure. However I drive a lot of rough roads and the suspension doesn't hold up to that.

Would you say the Hilux would hold up better on rougher terrain? In short I'm asking for an honest opinion. All opinions on a Toyota truck would be appreciated.

I am getting a 2023 Tundra for my first truck. But I am not a truck driver. I drive a 2023 Honda Civic Si Coupe that needs tires, brakes, struts. So I figured why not get a used truck. It will be my 1st vehicle. Hopefully I can learn everything from the ground up and never have to change a tire.

Tundra will not be cheap but worth every penny. We should be able to afford new ones now. This thing will be good for work, kids, and weekend getaway trips. And hopefully if we start a family we won't need to use this thing for hauling cargo.

My wife and I own a 1996 GMC Vandura. She loves it and it is the most reliable vehicle we've ever owned. It is also a little small for a big family, but we use it tow our boat when we have it out of the water. It does have a few annoying issues though:
Front end vibrates and shakes quite a bit. The drivers side window roll down mechanism is noisy and hard to manually operate. There is no sun roof - all 4 windows are roll down. Gas mileage isn't good. My wife and I own a 1995 Toyota Supra. It is an amazing car and we like it very much. It also drives great (very little wind noise and nimble), and it looks really cool. It is so fast it is almost ridiculous.

We were both born in 1989, and when we started dating in 1994 (9 years ago!), it was a GT-S. Then, my father gave me a '92 GT-S for Christmas, and we bought our first car.

Is the Tacoma a fast truck?

It runs great, has good power but it is very slow on the highway.

I recently saw the Tacoma at a local dealership, and was wondering if it is a fast truck. I understand a Tacoma has a 5.7 motor, while a Raptor is an auto. However, I was thinking that I would like the ability to put in a big V8?

I have never owned a truck before, so I am not sure if it is just a matter of price or if you get what you pay for. Maybe the Tacoma is the better value? Re: ? Yes, it's true that a Tacoma is faster than a Raptor (5.7L vs 5.9L). However, it also costs more. But it's worth it. It's the best truck on the market and a hell of a lot more fun to drive.

Tacoma's are not trucks designed to go around corners and up and down hill. They are designed to be a truck that is reliable, with long distance running abilities and they come in a multitude of different models.

As far as performance goes the Tacoma is quite a bit quicker than most other trucks. You get what you pay for. You will be able to easily drive the Tacoma. It's just not a very demanding truck. If your wanting to go track racing and doing wheel to wheel battles then the Raptor is a better option. However, if you want a truck that is reliable and good on gas then the Tacoma is the one.

Well I don't know anything about the Tacoma other than it's a mid size truck, but I will say that from reading the forums here it appears that people find it much more reliable than others, and it seems the engine was made for it! Now that isn't to say the Raptor isn't a good choice, because as a truck it is great! It's just that for me I prefer the Tacoma. It just seems like it's more me. :)

Are Toyota Tacomas any good?

toyota tacoma Are Toyota Tacomas any good?

That's the question as Toyota has just released a teaser video in response to increasing demand for mid-size crossovers. The 2023 Toyota Tundra also is going through the same treatment of getting its own teaser.

A lot of people want to buy the car you drive. This is not an issue with the new 2023 Toyota Tundra, though. As we just found out last week, it has gone through a transformation in its second generation. One of the biggest changes is the introduction of the new V-6 engine. The new powertrain gets better fuel economy and more energy.

The previous generation of the Tundra used a 3.5-liter V-6 as its base engine. It also got a five-speed automatic transmission that made driving the big vehicle a chore. Not anymore. The new 2023 Tundra features a new 3.5-liter V-6 engine, which is standard on the four-door and crew cab 44 models. That engine now puts out 310 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels. The result? The Tundra now has a power-to-weight ratio of roughly 19 lb/hp.

The powertrain also features Active Engine Stop & Start. It helps the engine save fuel when you aren't driving hard. When you need maximum power, Active Engine Stop & Start engages the engine automatically. That provides you with all-around better fuel efficiency.

The Tundra 44 also gets a few upgrades. The new suspension can now manage up to 16 inches of travel in the front axle and 8 inches in the rear axle. That gives the new Tundra a ground clearance of nearly 14 inches, which is higher than the previous model's 11.9 inches. The new powertrain also brings a six-speed automatic transmission.

The best news about the new Tundra is the cost. Still, if you are in the market for a vehicle that tows and seats at least seven, the 2023 Tundra should be high up on your list.

How much is a Tacoma?

Tacoma is a small car with a unique design that gives it a reputation for being both versatile and affordable. The Tacoma is the best-selling pickup in America, so there are plenty of incentives and models to choose from.

Here at AutoBargains.com, we know that purchasing a vehicle can be an exciting experience - especially one that's designed to meet your needs and budget. Whether you need something for daily commute, fun-filled errands, or long road trips, the Tacoma has you covered. When it comes to purchasing a Tacoma, you should have every detail covered, including the price. We've assembled information on several Tacoma models so you can compare options. This includes all of the major trims as well as accessories. The base model comes equipped with air conditioning and has four seats. In other words, the standard Tacoma comes with all of the options that many other vehicles include - except for a cup holder. Other features on the typical Tacoma are 17-inch alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, and a sunroof.

Some of the more expensive trims come loaded with even more features. A second option for the Tacoma is a 4-cylinder. A step down from a 5-cylinder engine, the 4-cylinder engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. The 4-cylinder also differs from its 5-cylinder counterpart in how it responds to acceleration and deceleration. The 5-cylinder engine accelerates quickly, whereas the 4-cylinder engine takes longer.

Tacoma vs. Tacoma Trucks Although there are plenty of differences between the Tacoma and the Tacoma TRD, we've put together a guide to help you decide which version is better for you.
