Is there a recall on 2019 Tacoma?
What year of Tacoma to stay away from?
This is a discussion on ? within the Concealed Carry Issues & Discussions forums, part of the Defensive Carry Discussions category; So I was thinking. If one does what I just mentioned, why would that make them too old to own a concealed weapon? Wouldn't you .
So I was thinking. Wouldn't you be just as likely to hit a kid on a BMX, bike, skateboard, or whatever as you would a 50-55 year old? Just wondering. I'm young(20) and like a lot of folks my age. I carry every where with a CCW permit, and would be willing to defend myself. But don't want a concealed weapon(I know I wouldn't use it if one was pointed at me) because I think it could be a target(for all the others out there, you know what I'm talking about). Just wanted to see what everyone else's thinking is in regards to it.
I'd say avoid any area in Tacoma around Westlake. Thats just my opinion. There are places in Portland that may be more dangerous but Westlake is horrible. When I lived there I always looked for parking in areas around stores with people not in their cars. Parking next to some people/cars at these times can bring you into direct danger so I try to avoid all areas around Westlake at those times. I do carry but I'd always err on the side of caution. A gun may be your greatest weapon but they can shoot other weapons as well. When I was younger, my family always told me not to carry while I was in public. My best option was to just carry on my person at all times. While I do believe having a gun is your best option it is also a great hindrance. A concealed weapon is a target. A lot of times it takes someone pointing it at you to get your attention.
If someone pulled a handgun on you in front of me, I have no doubt in my mind I would shoot them, then take action to render them unconscious before they could kill me with the resulting blood loss. I hope I am wrong but I would rather my fate end with me shooting them in the chest.

How much should I pay for a 2025 Toyota Tacoma? If your primary transportation is still the car or SUV you own, then this post is not relevant to you, but if you have the time and patience to be searching for the right one for your life, then you'll benefit from what's in this article. What are the best Tacoma Truck Models & How Much Should I Pay for a Tacoma Truck? I know it might seem strange, but we've come up with a guide for three different trucks to help us make an informed decision when we buy our next vehicle, and if you can get this down into practice you'll have great results! If you can get all your information before you purchase, the results are the same with these models, you just need to be willing to pay a bit more to avoid issues you didn't see coming. First - We Need a Model: All Tacoma Truck Models - All Makes. This is where most people get confused, there is not a standard size for a Tacoma Truck, instead there are two models available which both sit above your standard car: the base and the TRD Off-Road. Both trucks are sold in 3 different wheelbases from 42 - 64 which means your driving experience is exactly the same as we expect to receive. What really makes the difference is how big the bed is and if it features a topper system.
TRD Off-Road - Bed 5 Tall. The Bed Size for the TRD Off-Road model of the Tundra and the Hilux varies between 5 - 6 tall which gives us 6 usable cubic feet of space for those heavier items you'd have on your regular truck. It also comes fitted with Toyota's new TRD Pro Package which includes locking hubs, bigger front differential and a higher rear air dam.
Is there a recall on 2019 Tacoma?
I bought my Tacoma about 2 weeks ago from an employee at Toyota. I went back today to check on it and the check engine light is on. The dealership said it has not been seen or noted before. The dealer recommended I take it to work to have it checked out there. Is there a recall for this problem? I don't see anything in the manual on it. Are other's seeing this issue? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
The CEL means the code for the problem is not in the vehicle's memory, meaning it is not a new repair/new problem. Check the fuse/relay connections to see if there's a problem, you can also look up for the code in the owner's manual, which if you purchased your truck within 12 months should be able to give you the code.then call the dealer, if they don't know what code it is and/or fix it and want to charge you a new battery.I've had 3 Tacoma's since 1999, never had one with that problem, maybe yours is faulty.
Get a loaner car (with warranty) or at least a different auto mechanic to try and figure out what's going on. It could just be a bad battery.
If you decide to go with a newer car, get one with a manual transmission. They're the only kind to survive if/when the computer goes kaput.
If this was a new Tacoma, then they may have a better idea of what it is. If you were told that it happens from day one and it hasn't started to go down yet then there may be something else going on.
Thanks for responding! I went home with the mechanic today, I asked him if there is any issue with my 2025 Tacoma that wasn't there before. He didn't comment except that he would look it up. My husband drove it home so I figured it wasn't that much of an issue. The next thing I know we got a flat tire at the car wash. I'll check back in a bit to see how things turned out.
That wouldnt happen to me and I dont get a code or hear a noise when my battery runs out so I dunno. I've heard that if the car comes with a power system fuse that it will work well if that is bad.
