I'm sure its more then double if they go thru an oil field area! No doubt fuel consumption is important when buying a car! But even if they were tow it behind a lorry, it does carry around 10 kgs more then when driving it by itself. Also what about the extra wear on the body of the car? Maybe it is a good idea to leave that out If one really wants a sporty car ,then go for the GT version or higher specced cars as of now. In the case of the Santa Fe ,this should not be a problem unless you want to race. For a daily driven car,the GT or ST (or even the base) model are perfectly fine. Also the 0 to 100 time of the GT is 5.8 seconds at 80 km/hr and is still more than 1 second faster then the i20/ i30's.

Also the price of the Santa Fe is much more then the i20. But if you really want that extra power,its always better to opt for an FWD over a RWD car.
