Was 2015 a good year for the Tacoma?

Our readers voted.

And they weren't the only ones who had a good time. The Tacoma received the highest rating among U.S. Market-based vehicles in Edmunds.com's annual Best Driver's Survey, beating all but one of its competitors.

Edmunds surveyed its most frequent drivers on a number of topics, including safety and fuel economy, and ranked them from very good to horrible. In all, the Tacoma scored a B for its very good rating.

After a year of high-profile recalls, a new engine, and a big redesign, the Tacoma has never been more impressive, said Mike Magallanes, Edmunds.com editor-in-chief. The Tacoma is a worthy recipient of this top rating, and it's a great showcase of the quality we've seen from Tacoma over the past year.

Here's a list of the five finalists in the Best Driver's Survey, with the full list of survey results at the bottom: Tacoma. Honda Pilot. Toyota RAV4. Ford F-150. Jeep Grand Cherokee. But what if you didn't buy a new Tacoma? Well, it wasn't the worst vehicle in the survey. The Honda Pilot took second place, followed by the RAV4, F-150, and Grand Cherokee. The only other vehicle to earn a B in the survey was the Mazda CX-5.

In all, 16 percent of survey respondents have a 2026 Tacoma, according to Edmunds. That means the Tacoma is the most popular new-vehicle choice in the survey, with a 2.3-to-1 advantage over the second-place F-150. And it's a significant jump from 2026, when the Tacoma only got a 1.8-to-1 advantage over the second-place RAV4.

Of course, the Tacoma's popularity doesn't mean it's the most safe. Only 2.2 percent of drivers ranked it the safest vehicle in their fleets. And even though it's the best overall performer in the Edmunds.

How much is a 2015 Toyota Tacoma TRD worth?

2015 toyota tacoma v6 trd sport How much is a 2015 Toyota Tacoma TRD worth?

I have a Tacoma TRD X Double Cab V6 in great condition, with only 13,700 miles on the motor/transmission. Would someone be interested in selling it for what it's worth? Or would someone be more interested if I were to replace it with another Tacoma 4wd?

Re: What is the best value for money pick-up? It's worth every penny that it has now. It is a better value than the FJ, but not better value than the 2X4 JK. And I'm not the average.

I am sorry that I did not see this earlier but I did go back through the list of questions you posed which I believe is the only way to find the answer to your question. This is why I love this website so much, we can ask questions and hopefully get answers. I had a question about a vehicle I have now, not one you mentioned but I think it can answer your question. My truck has the 5.7 engine, and when I got it the transmission code was E. Then, within the first 200 miles I had code C7. This took several attempts of driving to get it again. My question is, could you clarify if this is ok? Can this be expected after driving over 200k miles? Also, what is the code means, and do they ever go away by them self? I think I read somewhere the reason for the code change was to slow the transmission down so it does not shift so hard.

I am looking for info. Not answer Bob L. TX I don't think this is a question you should have anymore. There are several people who have answered this question, I would imagine that they already understand the question well enough that none of you will really gain any useful information from each other anymore.

What is the difference between Toyota Tacoma TRD and TRD Sport?

Trucks will no doubt be no strangers to the rugged and durable Toyota Tacoma. The TRD Sport variant is a bit more interesting because it looks like you could really go crazy with any mods you like. The standard Tacoma comes with a number of safety features in a rugged vehicle so the TRD Sport variant also has a few safety items in the mix. If you would rather save some cash the non-trucks can also be looked at. There are so many models out there and they may not all have all the options you want or even make sense, especially if you do not need them to take a certain path. It's always going to be important to look at reviews and read up on the latest product news as well as get more information about what makes one model special than others. That's what the Tacoma owners here can help provide for you. We'll also show you which ones are best for off road and why they should be more of your first pick when buying the Tacoma. That way you'll know what you want and what things that matter most.

Tacoma TRD Sport: The main difference. Let's start with a simple one. Is it worth having this truck? Well, if you want to enjoy the benefits of the TRD Sport there are plenty of different things to consider. A key addition is the larger front and rear coil springs that are sure to get the job done for you. It doesn't hurt that the suspension is an air-ride too. This gives the Tacoma a lot more to take advantage of in terms off-road capabilities and they will be very happy about it, it's obvious. The front bumper is also wider than standard and it will make it easier tow things with the right attachments. They won't make that work easy, but it will help a lot of people with their plans. If you need four wheel drive or the ability to pull your trailer behind it, then the Tacoma TRD Sport is what you've been looking for. It's just the same package but with better suspension in the end. You won't necessarily notice the differences unless you are looking for it.
