Is there a 2024 Ford Focus?

Is there a 2024 Ford Focus?

How many miles per gallon does a 2024 Ford Focus ST-line X get?

The all-new Ford Focus ST-line X has the most power and capability of any Ford. Is it possible that this midsize hatch could get more than 37 miles per gallon in real-world driving? That seems likely. After all, the high-output turbocharged EcoBoost V6 engine is a potent enough power plant to get very good mileage from most sedans. In fact, the Focus ST-line X gets better EPA fuel economy numbers than the midsize Honda Accord sedan and Toyota Camry, making it an excellent contender in the subcompact performance compact segment. Of course, getting more than 37 miles per gallon, or getting anything like real-world efficiency, is no simple feat. But if we look beyond EPA-cycle numbers, and take into account how cars are driven on roads today instead of through some mythical city driving environment that we haven't even been able to recreate, the Ford might be just right.

With a combined 38 mpg (city/highway), the Focus gets better fuel economy than other small hatchbacks and coupes. (See full results) What we really want to know here is not necessarily if the Ford ST-line X can get 37 miles per gallon for average drivers in the real world. That's like having some poor, unemployed soul in Kentucky buy every car on Earth with the sole objective of buying only the top-rated ones. What we need to know is how the automaker would rank its car in relation to its competitors, and what improvements can be made to get up there to the top of the performance compact segment.

We're going to test the Focus ST-line X using both our standard highway and city cycle tests, which are conducted completely in the way that people drive their own vehicles as they take long trips. The average fuel economy of the Ford is 38 mpg on the highway cycle and 43 mpg on the city cycle. By contrast, the Camry's highest combined cycle is 35 mpg, while the Honda's top city cycle is 43 mpg. The Hyundai Elantra Sportswagon is a few mpg more than the Focus, but it's not at a higher speed.

The Focus has an EPA-rated 37 mpg combined; the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord come close. A better question is, can the 2026 Focus keep its title as the fuel miser?

Is Ford coming out with a new Focus ST?

I saw a picture of a Ford Focus ST at the NY Auto Show, and I don't remember any ST variants coming out since the late 90s. This thing looks super cool and I'm excited to see what the ST version of the Focus is like.

My question is, what's the possibility of a new Focus ST coming out in the near future? If it doesn't happen within the next year or two, then I'll be really disappointed. The reason for the question is because I am currently waiting for the Focus RS, and I really hope to see one coming out soon. I have not seen a new ST in over 10 years. It was the last time there was a ST that was based on the Focus II platform. The last ST was the GT-ST based on the Focus II platform. I would love to see one made but I don't think Ford is going to do it.

Oh, ok.

Is there a 2024 Ford Focus?

Ford has made the official unveiling of the new Focus at their Detroit show, and if you thought that this would just be a big "so what" announcement that's more about PR than about the actual product, you'd be wrong. The Focus will likely be one of the bestselling cars for the US market in the next few years and when Ford finally launches it with the Focus RS, there is no doubt that it will be a hot contender in the sport sedan market. The new Focus is also being aimed at the US luxury market, a segment that is not nearly as big as the sales figures indicate, but it is big enough to be worth Ford's attention. While it may not have the allure of the Mustang, people who buy American cars want luxury more than performance.

Ford has been making cars for a long time, and many of their products have been known to evolve over the years, often making them even better cars. Many people think of the original Ford F-100 (F-250) from the 1970s as the first true muscle car, but that was one of many such vehicles from different companies, while the Ford Capri was one of many European designs. The focus was on building cars that worked on the road as well as track, something Ford has done since they introduced the Taurus in 1976, and the only company that did as well was BMW.

Ford's answer to the BMW 3 Series is the Fusion, which was released in 2026. It had pretty much everything the original 3 Series has, but with better overall styling, it's interior, and more standard equipment. The 2026 Focus looks to continue where the 2026 Ford Fusion left off.

Ford's approach to the small car market is a little different. While they do make full-size cars for every market, there are times where they don't want to make a large product. In Europe, Ford sells only hatchbacks and small crossovers, while in North America, they make only large vehicles.

Back in 2026, Ford released the Mustang, a mid-size muscle car. It was sold as a performance vehicle, but in reality, it was a high-powered economy car. At first, it was very successful in the US market. However, when Ford wanted to sell more Mustangs, they changed the marketing to make the car appear more like a performance vehicle.

What is the difference between Ford Focus ST-line and ST-line X?

Ford released two versions of the Focus ST: The ST-line and the ST-line X. Both models have the same engine but, in the case of the X, you're paying more to be in a higher trim model, and get access to some unique equipment like LED front and rear fog lights, LED headlights, and aero bits. How much more? We'll break it down below.

ST-Line. ST-Line X. Engine. 200 hp. 230 hp. 0-60 mph (secs). 3 seconds (5.1 secs) Top speed. 146 mph (145 mph). 157 mph (156 mph). 0-100 mph.
