Hello all! I'm planning on buying a 2025 Tacoma this weekend and just curious if this truck has the reputation of being one of the newer and best trucks on the road or an overhyped truck that's getting no respect because it's new? I don't see the hype. The only negative is the price with a new car. The positives outweigh that. I like the styling and engine. The body is good, but I don't have any reason to think it's not reliable.
This forum has been talking about it for two weeks now. Just go look around you will find it.
The Tacoma is a pretty well liked truck I'm told. I'd be looking for that particular configuration.
We are a family here and we have a 2025 which we love but our son really wants the new version. I'm going to look at different models and compare what they come with (gas milage wise vs my 07 model). As far as the reputation goes I would not worry at all! The 2nd thing I looked at was the fact that if your child is "in the system" like they refer to it as, and you can get the full version it's cheaper. Also check the prices for a full tank on their website as they are about 1-2k cheaper than their big 3 cousins. I am not a huge fan of "new truck buying.
