Does Ford still make Focus sedan?

Does the Ford Focus come in a sedan?
Or a hatchback? The answer is both, but only one is available in India. This compact car from Ford India comes in two variants: a 2.0-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel with a five-speed manual and a four-speed automatic.
The petrol variant has good performance and is a good choice for everyday use, while the diesel is quiet and fuel efficient, and it's perfect for high speeds. The hatchback has a higher boot space and is a better option for long trips.
Ford Focus Sedan 2024 review: The Ford Focus is priced in the upper Rs 5 lakh bracket in the Indian market, and it's a good value proposition for a compact hatchback. It's not as stylish as the rival Maruti Suzuki Ignis, but it has a more practical cabin, and its styling is much better than that of the Hyundai Verna.
The Ford Focus is a compact sedan, and is available with both petrol and diesel engines. The petrol engine produces 120bhp and 160Nm of torque, and the diesel engine produces 110bhp and 150Nm of torque. It also has the latest MyFord Touch infotainment system, and a suite of features including a touchscreen infotainment system, a reversing camera, LED tail lights and LED fog lamps. The Ford Focus Sedan 2024 review: The petrol variant gets a fuel efficiency of 21.1 km/l, while the diesel variant gets 25.6 km/l.
The petrol variant also gets a fuel efficiency of 19.8 km/l, while the diesel variant gets 25.4 km/l.
Does Ford still make Focus sedan?
There is a lot of negative publicity on the Ford Focus, such as a problem with the rear hatch which is not openable (only an attempt to close the hatch is allowed, then the hatch has to be manually released. The same applies to the liftgate. The company has made it known that this would be fixed in its future model. Is that true?
I am currently waiting for the S-max (a wagon/SUV) and will buy the current Focus if it will remain, so I am interested to know if the new Focus which will be launched by the end of 2024 will still have the existing "problematic" model. The first 2 generations of the Focus were the best cars I have owned.I loved them but they are on their last leg. I'm waiting for the next generation because I want an auto so when I drive it in all that traffic it will actually be my car and not have to worry about breaking the steering wheel.
They should keep making them until at least 2024. The new one will be pretty much like the 4th generation Escort. Ford doesn't seem to have the passion for small cars anymore. If the 4th generation Escort was released today you'd have a small crossover SUV that can take more abuse than an MPV (minivan).
Actually there is a huge gap between the 3rd and 4th gen Escorts. Quote: Originally Posted by mikewiske. And it looks like the world's biggest mass market car maker is back in the game - well, as soon as its new baby gets over any potential kinks.

This post also appeared here: This is a list of cars Ford has announced no plans to update. I compiled this at different times from various sources, but the order is just fine. And there is one exception that needs to be mentioned (but don't worry, he'll just change his username once he figures out there's an issue). See the note at the end for how you can help with the research on the car you want to see added.

Ford Mondeo (2016-present): No Planned Updates. Ford Focus RS (2020-present): All Year 2024 (early), 2024 (early), 2024 (early). There is no need to add anything else to this as there are none planned. The only change in Focus RS, the 2024 plan is that RS is the next year the RS gets its name change up, along with the V8 becoming a supercharged V6. If there are changes between RS and R models other than this, I'm not aware of them.
The only update that would even come close to being an update in a technical sense would be any updates that Ford is doing to EcoBoost engines. But other than that, these updates are completely cosmetic (or minor in some cases).
