Does Ford still make Focus sedan?

Does Ford still make Focus sedan?

Why buy Chevy?

The new Focus is good, but a shame. It was going to be a truly superb car. And still can be. But in the end, the design and price put it at a disadvantage in a market that may never again be kind to compact cars.

I'm in the same boat, I was really looking forward to a better design and price, so I had a hard time buying one. Still, I'd buy one if they released a new design next year.

However, my opinion is that they should make a new (new platform) Focus for the next generation, with an all-new rear suspension system. I know some of you will be upset, but after all this time, I'm sure they could pull it off. I'm sure they are working on something now, so hopefully it comes out in a few years.

And I think that the focus has come a long way from being a piece of junk. The old body style needs to go though, it's very ugly and not functional as it's a heavy car. I like the new style, but I still like the old one, because it's just nicer.

How much is the Ford Focus 2024?

Ford Focus 2024 price with engine options from 6,195

The new Ford Focus has arrived and it's been around a while, but it's finally available to buy at last, after over a year of delays. How does it rank when compared with other compact cars? Powered by a range of engine sizes, you have two variants of the 2.0-litre petrol unit - the standard 125PS turbo and the 150PS supercharged petrol. Both are paired with a 130bhp 1.0-litre three-cylinder diesel and a 2.0-litre TDI diesel.

The petrol engines are more frugal than in the previous Focus, while the diesel units have less of a fuel-guzzling kick, with CO2 emissions down by 19g/km on the 2.0-litre turbo engine compared with the outgoing model's emissions of 161g/km, while the three-cylinder diesel is an improvement on the 1.0-litre unit's emissions of 157g/km compared with a whopping 189g/km previously.

Ford has made a few tweaks to help the driver. The power steering - one of the more noticeable changes to this new model - is a touch lighter and stiffer compared with the last Focus. A new Sport mode will bring the car closer to 60mph in 5.6 seconds. That's less than a second slower than the Volkswagen Golf and more than a tenth faster than the equivalent Mini Cooper.

Top Gear review: New Ford Focus review. As the old Focus has a reputation for being jolty, here's something that will ease your fears. It's a quiet little chap. There is absolutely no feedback from the wheels as they hit the road or from the suspension. So, it won't give you a false sense of security when a close encounter with something happens on the way home.

The steering itself is nice and light. In the right conditions you can get it to rotate quickly. The chassis also gets much better feedback through the seats and pedals - particularly the toe stops at the back - although the grip is very low. You don't require any big brakes because the engine is so easy to control.

If you want to drive this car with your hair on fire then stick to the 3.

How much is a Ford Focus today?

A Ford Focus today is a great value for your money! Here's why. What is a Ford Focus? A Ford Focus is a small family car with an all-round comfortable interior, stylish exterior and affordable running costs. With more than 100 years of history behind it, this small car has made an indelible mark on the automotive world. So what are you waiting for? Read on to find out how much a Ford Focus is worth in today's money.

What does a Ford Focus cost today? As of February 2024, the average price for a Ford Focus is 7,984 - saving you over 1,500! Today, you can buy a new Ford Focus in the UK for less than 6,000. It is certainly a great value for money, but if you want to save even more, the Ford Focus S is worth considering. The Ford Focus S has fewer standard features than the Focus, so expect to pay less for it, but still get a lot for your money.

But this depends on how you use your car and if you drive it safely. How many miles does a Ford Focus drive? The Ford Focus is a fuel-efficient model. A Ford Focus is a car that will give you plenty of miles per gallon (mpg) of petrol or diesel. The Ford Focus averages 50mpg on the combined cycle, which means it uses half the amount of fuel compared to other small cars like a Ford Mondeo or a Volkswagen Polo.

To drive many thousands of miles in your Ford Focus, however, you will need to plan ahead. And be prepared to spend a lot more money than you think.

Does your Ford Focus have a high mileage breakdown cover? You probably wouldn't buy a Ford Focus without a full breakdown cover. When something breaks in your Ford Focus, it can cost you a lot of money to get the repairs done. With no money for repairs, your car could become a danger to other road users.

For example, your Ford Focus could break down, causing a sudden and dangerous loss of power. Without breakdown cover, you would have to pay to repair your vehicle, or would have to leave it on the side of the road until a tow truck arrives.
