Is Admiral a call centre?
In the early days of the internet, when we lived in the land of dial-up, we had our fair share of online service-providers. Some people still remember their dial-up ISP's name: Fronznet, Cyber-Net, Inexanet and The World Wide Web.
What if you were a customer of one of these service-providers? How did you know that your internet connection was working? What was your connection speed like? How much was your monthly bill? And how much did they charge to transfer your funds overseas? We can't forget these things, because the companies that ran the networks were our internet service-providers, and they did so by charging us for it. We are still on their networks and we pay them for it, so what are they doing with our money? One of the more significant examples of this is the telecommunications provider Admiral. We all have Admiral. The name says it all. It is a telecommunications provider who has set up a call centre on your behalf. In fact, they have a whole network of call centres in the world. They even have call centres on every continent (except Antarctica).
This, of course, is a problem. There are a lot of call centres in the world and if you are the only customer in the world for a particular call centre then you are paying for every other customer too. That is the problem.
If you were a customer of the call centre in my country, then it would be a whole lot easier to sort out the billing problems. A company like Admiral could only be profitable if it was selling services that were actually used. They would be unable to sell these services if they were not selling something to everyone in the world.
This is why they are now offering their services across the world. They are selling their services to everyone. And if there is no one else around to buy these services then that means they aren't earning any money.
Of course, this is not all bad news.95 per month.
Is the Admiral 0333 number free?
I'm trying to find out what the cost of the Admiral 0333 number is. It seems that it's the same for the UK and US, but I can't find a way to find out if it's free to use in the US. Does anyone know how I can find out?
Re: ? Hi all. After several days of looking around, I have discovered that the answer is no, and that you have to pay a huge amount of money to be able to use your Admiral 0333 number in the USHowever, when you make the call to the number, you get a free recording telling you the cost. So, yes, the Admiral 0333 number is free to use in the UK, but not in the USDoes anyone have any other ideas on how to find out if the Admiral 0333 number is free in the USA? For now, your best bet is to call 1-866-411-0333 (this number is the 'free' number) and listen to the recording. You'll get a warning that you have exceeded your free minutes.
If the recording doesn't mention your card number or expiration date, then you have no charge. If it does mention your card number or expiration date, then it's a charge. Originally Posted by tonyb. I was hoping that it was free to use in the USA as it is in the UK, but it's not. It sounds like I'll have to settle for the 0800 number for the time being.
I agree, you need to call them and listen to their recording and decide whether or not they are free.
