Which is the best website to choose cars?

Websites for choosing cars (or any other kind of product for that matter) are quite rare. Most of the time it's a matter of searching around an internet to find that website and reading some reviews here and there to make an informed choice. That's exactly what I did, with the result below: As you can see here, most of the websites listed under Car Websites aren't really trustworthy and some are downright scams. What you need as a consumer is an unbiased website that gives you honest information about different brands, products or services. I know there are a lot of unbiased websites out there but it's really tough to find one.

The ones you're going to read in this post on our favorite websites for choosing a car are simply the best that I've found so far. I hope they help you if you're looking for the best websites for choosing a car.

Why it's difficult to find a website? Well, first of all, it's not like everybody chooses a car or a service by looking at it. We make our choices based on our needs, requirements, wants and interests.

We search, review and try different things to compare all available options before deciding which one is best suited for us. Websites like ours are not needed at all. You can just use the internet to perform these tasks.

There's another big problem with websites like these: if you go with a website and something goes wrong, you'll never know. You will never know that the company that designed or built it is a scam and they are trying to sell you services for more than it's worth.

What do you do when you get ripped off? And the worst part is that you're not alone because there are tens of thousands of similar cases reported every year. Here are a couple of cases that I've read in my life (with my sources linked). In all these cases, the buyers were sold services for the price that only a legitimate business could charge.

The features you need in a good selling app. We are continuously working on making the app user friendly, but these seven features are what we believe a good car selling app needs. 1) We want to be the #1 selling app worldwide. We have already grown into the most popular app in Europe and Japan, and we are working towards achieving this success in all regions. The car buying market has grown at a phenomenal rate over the last few years, and we know that an app has to be flexible to appeal to all types of buyers, especially a buyer who may be buying a second or third car. It means a lot of competition, but that's why we chose to launch the app worldwide with more markets to come!

2) We want to win more awards. With CarTrade being voted the best car selling app by The Telegraph Magazine, the Times and Carzone, we know the app does well and we want to work harder than ever to deliver more for our customers. 3) We want to make money. From this point forward we are working hard on creating a successful profit centre, and we'll aim to use all the tools at our disposal to deliver the best possible experience, whilst balancing this with keeping our costs down and being sustainable for our company. 4) We want your feedback. What is the most popular used car website UK?

This was asked on Twitter by @joshkbrown who says he's currently looking for the best deal on a used Volkswagen. If you want to see my reply, click here.

I've always assumed that Google was the most popular used car website in the UK since it's search engine is the most common choice for people seeking out cars. But when were approached to find out the question, all of a sudden several other websites came up. So, if you know of any websites you feel are more popular than Google and we would appreciate a comment so we can give the best rating.

Let me tell you something very simple: I do not have stats or figures - and it won't be updated any time soon, so make of it what you will. I am just a car owner and an active user, which means I get invited onto loads of forums around the country. So I talk to owners of used VWs, Vauxhalls, Seatbacks etc and see what gets them excited. Over the last year I have spoken to loads of people in various sections of the buying and selling process and I've found that the two biggest issues a buyer has to face are 1) the price of the car/2) it being too noisy / too cheap / no power in the engine / it has lots of miles on it and will break down, so can I get enough money / is there anything wrong with it and how much will it cost to fix it / is it the right decision or should I keep looking for another one.

So, as you can imagine, the main focus is on that final, crucial decision of is it the right decision. It isn't rocket science, and people are talking about it every day but as a group - and I don't have stats to prove this - there are quite a few forums where the majority of posts are about whether the car has been tested and if its engine's OK and all the rest of that! In fact one site has got so bad that I have had to ask them to change their policies because people are getting ripped off buying from them.
