They then calculate a suggested price based on these results.

The goal of the Blue Book is to help consumers understand the market value of their car and help them decide on whether or not to buy. This way, you'll be able to compare to the market and decide if it's a good deal or not.

Another great thing about using the Blue Book is that they often will provide you with an extended warranty of 3 to 5 years at no extra cost. The reason for this is that you are guaranteed to get a fair price for your car and you'll be covered if it breaks down within those three years.
