Where can I sell my car online for free UK?
As a UK resident it is easy to sell your vehicle online for free in the UK. We are currently working with several companies who offer FREE car sale services and will be adding more companies to our website as they get added. So that you can see what is offered please check the companies that have agreed to add their services to our site by visiting our Free Auto Trader Cars Sellers page.
We are often asked about selling on the used car market. The short answer is that there are different types of cars that sell for different prices and there are companies that offer services for each type of car.
Some types of cars that are available for sale include: Sports cars. Family cars. Cars for the road (like small vans). Motorbikes. Used cars. Car parts. If you have a car that is not listed here then please let us know what type of car it is and we will let you know if it is available. All of the companies offering car sale services are registered with the Financial Conduct Authority. You can find out more about the Register here.
There is also a Register for motor traders. If you are a motor trader you must register. You can find out more about the FCA registration process here.
How to sell a car online for free UK? Once you have decided that you want to sell your car for free, you need to contact the company that offers the services that you need. There are many companies offering these services and we will be adding new services to our site as they become available.
When you contact them, you will usually be sent a few options that they will accept. When you sign up to their service you will be given details of how to sell your car online for free and they will send you more details of their service. The service will usually ask you to post your car details on their website and then they will advertise your car on their site. If someone contacts you to buy your car you will then send your car details to the buyer and they will pay you via a bank transfer.
If you do not want to sell your car via a company that charges for the service then you should check the Register for the FCA, which is the main consumer protection body for all trading in the UK.
What is the best selling site for cars?
It used to be EBay, but that is not the best place to get a car if you have specific requirements. But with Ebay, it is fairly easy to post your car for sale and then get it sold online. It is also very easy to list for rent when you need to hire a car. That way you can use some of the cars on your company car leasing list while the ones that are actually leased go out there. Of course if you go for eBay, make sure you do all the checks, ensure the seller is a genuine one and don't put out more money than the car will sell for.
I don't see anything wrong with that. We have our business car lease deals advertised here for less than 400 per week! We have a contract car dealership where we have a contract fleet. I would be very wary of doing anything over this amount in the open market where we wouldn't have an up to date database on cars we could put on lease that are available.
Are you looking for a quote on a car or simply a recommendation, as long as you take delivery, I will quote 400 a week - or as many other companies, as they are all looking for a commission. I have been in the industry for over 20 years so I know the current rates in car leasing. So what is the cheapest quote? As said above, 400 a week. I think this is a common average for the first year. I can usually work out cheaper quotes by changing the length and type of deal. Also, different companies quote different rates at different times of the year for obvious reasons.
But 400 per week is more than what I quote. There seems to be a problem with how you are quoting, 400 per week is what you quoted. There are so many options on the market for leasing, it's like choosing between a red or blue football jersey. I have a few websites on my books; but, not on this forum! I'd suggest joining this forum and having a look at some of the threads under my name, because they might be up to date with the latest info. With a little luck, one of them might match what you're looking for.

Is it free to sell on Gumtree?
This question has popped up more and more regularly since the last time I bought my own house. The answer is - yes, you can very easily sell on both Trulia and Rightmove but, with some caveats, it's actually not a free or 'conventional' sale as described.
If you are already thinking about moving you'll have realised that in order to sell most people are having to pay around 10% commission to estate agents, which can be anything between 2 and 20%. If we work out your commission then that could be 1500 or 20000 depending on whether you are selling a brand new build of 600k or a Victorian property of just over 1000k. Now what's really not nice about this kind of arrangement?
I mean, it's totally unfair, and when it comes to being fair, not buying the house you've always dreamed about isn't quite as unfair as I think some people make out. But it's not fair at all when it means the buyer of your home has to pay 20% commission on any price achieved through our service, and if they don't it costs them 10% on any house price. So, we sell on Trulia as a free service to give our clients a truly free sale, one that's easy for them and their buyers to do. It is also, as everyone has been saying for so long, the only way to sell. In the UK there is just no reason to go to auctions. They take around 7 days, don't offer the right properties and often the right price and require many more visits.
We have been telling people that it's ok to sell through us because it doesn't cost them more than they would be paying anyway when they sell themselves. But, like I said, we're changing our model somewhat in 2024 and, for that reason, have decided to now sell on Trulia as a premium service, for those willing to pay for our time.
In future we will sell on Trulia and Rightmove as premium services but won't be selling on other sites so people are free to choose which platform works best for them - I mean how hard is it really? The biggest selling platforms are Rightmove, Zoopla and Trulia.
