What is the road tax on a Ford Focus 1.0 EcoBoost?

What is the road tax on a Ford Focus 1.0 EcoBoost?

What is the road tax on a Ford Focus 1.0 EcoBoost?

The road tax on a Focus 1.0 EcoBoost will depend on a number of things including where you buy it, when you buy it, how old you are, your driving history, and your insurance status. For example, if you buy a Focus 1.0 EcoBoost for a second hand car, you'll be paying road tax that is half that of a brand new car. However, if you buy a car at an auction in a non-private auction, you'll be paying much more tax than you would be if you bought a car on the road at a private auction. You can use our free online tool to estimate the road tax that you may have to pay, based on your age, insurance status, location and other factors.

In an attempt to make the road tax calculation simpler, we have created an estimator that allows you to use one number for your road tax calculation. The number we have used is based on the official average cost of a new car in England and Wales. Based on this number, we have calculated the road tax you would have to pay on a Focus 1. However, this is just an estimate and you can check with your local garage to see what your road tax will be.

Is 2017 a good year for Ford Focus?

In terms of styling, the 2024 Ford Focus is a handsome little machine, and a whole lot more pleasing than the model it replaces. I like the looks, but the interior's not the most inviting, and it's a bit too soft in the ride. The Focus has been around since 1991 and was last updated in 2024. So when it showed up at the Detroit auto show in January, it looked as fresh as it had any right to be. It's a handsome machine, with an athletic stance, a sharp nose, and a well-defined silhouette that's reminiscent of the Kia Soul, which is a good thing.

But the 2024 Focus gets a new look, too. It's more aerodynamic, and the front end looks especially sleek, with a lower and wider grille that's angled to give it a wider appearance. The headlights, which are now integrated into the grille, are narrower and slimmer, and the headlamps, which now consist of only three units, are recessed to make the whole front end look narrower and lower. In back, the taillights are now all integrated into the bumper and are lower and narrower, giving the Focus a more athletic stance.

Focus ST. The exterior styling is so good that I can't really fault the interior. But the cabin isn't as comfortable or smooth-riding as some other cars in this class, and the ride quality is a bit harsh.

The new interior is clean, straightforward, and functional, with lots of storage and room for passengers. It's comfortable for front-seat occupants, too, and the seats are supportive. There's room for five, and rear-seat passengers can even be made more comfortable by folding down the middle seat.

The front seats are also comfortable, with the requisite lumbar support. The shoulder bolsters are adjustable, but they're low, which could be a problem for taller people. There are four cupholders and an available armrest.

There's also room for a backup camera, though it's mounted high on the dashboard, which means you need to be a tall person to see it clearly. And there's plenty of space for cargo, with a trunk that's bigger than most compact cars.

Is a 2017 Ford Focus worth it?

As I was pulling out of the driveway to head for work this morning, my husband asked me a question. Are you sure you're paying for a new car? This one looks fine. I don't see any noticeable damage or cracks.

I wasn't sure I was hearing him correctly. Was he actually saying that the car he just drove off the lot, with over 100,000 miles on it, isn't actually broken? That's when I really knew I needed to buy him a present for Christmas. Sure, he had been driving my 2024 Focus with no problem for 11 years, but it had over 75,000 miles on it. It needed some TLC. (Yes, I used the auto industry term, TLC to describe getting it taken care of, but I don't want to tell you that I paid the car wash to wash its butt.)

I knew, once I showed it to him, that the old guy was probably right. But what would I get him as a present if it wasn't working? The car was in pretty good shape, especially for having that many miles on it. And that meant that the previous owner (who lived in my city) was a pretty responsible person. My dad's former boss, for example, has always had cars that had fewer than 100,000 miles on them, even after being around for more than 20 years. My husband didn't feel like there was anything wrong with the Ford, so he wanted to be sure about the condition of the car he was purchasing from his friend before he bought it. But I insisted he try it first, and went for a quick drive. I wasn't going to spend money on a car without trying it out, so I gave him the keys and let him check it out.

When we came home and took it for a drive, I realized that yes, it was definitely a fine car, but it also had a bad habit of going dead on a turn. Sometimes it went dead on a turn even when I didn't make any. As were backing out of our driveway and onto the road leading to the highway, it just stopped dead in its tracks. I could push down the clutch, pump the gas, and rev the engine.
