How many miles per gallon does a 2023 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport get?

How many miles per gallon does a 2023 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport get?

Is Toyota changing the Tacoma for 2023?

The Toyota team working on the 2024 Tacoma will likely have a new way of building the midsize pickup, said Tim Yohalem, senior director of F-Series and commercial trucks. He said that if a new Tacoma came out with 2024, it would be the first pickup to be built as a purpose-built product - not just designed as a modification to a truck already made, something he said can produce many problems. Yohalem said Toyota was looking at making an all-new model. Toyota wants the company's biggest product to be unique.

It's also not that Toyota doesn't know how to build a pickup, it's more about the direction they want to take, he said. Toyota is trying to go in a different direction than the competition, he said. We have people doing some unique things, and when we come out with new pickups, they're going to be very interesting. They aren't worried about who the competitors are, but rather their own capabilities and what they could bring to the market, he said. He said they want to make a good pickup. They don't care who makes them. The key is what Toyota can do to make them different from the competition.

Yohalem said if a customer is coming to a dealership for a brand name, that isn't important to Toyota. If they go in and say they want an F-150, they should get an F-150, he said. We're not going to compromise. We're going to make a very competitive pickup. But it's built to get us ready for where we want to go.

F-Series president Mike Jackson said Toyota has been talking to customers. But he said it won't be a quick process and may take a year or two.

We've gotten input from customers and we've been listening, but when it comes to this, they want more details.

2023 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport. With the TRD Pro 44 system, this light-duty Tacoma gains four new off-road goodies, including front and rear skidplates, 18-inch forged aluminum wheels, rock rails, and off-road performance tires. In fact, the TRD Pro 44 system is the most capable off-road package available on any Toyota truck.

Although it isn't exactly known for its speed, the Tacoma does offer some decent off-road performance. At only 1,500 pounds less than its full-size competitors, the 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport makes the right tradeoff between comfort and practicality. It's a strong contender in the midsize segment.

The 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport is offered in base, Sport, Limited, and Double Cab configurations. It features a 3.5-liter V-6 engine, sending power to all four wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission. The optional standard automatic stop-start feature helps save fuel and reduce emissions.

The Tacoma gets plenty of power and torque. It has a stout 295 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque from its 3. That makes it the most powerful V-6 in its class. It's also available with a V-6 turbo engine, which delivers more power and torque than the non-turbo V-6.

The Tacoma has some good cargo space.

Is the 2023 Tacoma TRD Sport reliable?

2023 toyota tacoma 4x4 sport Is the 2023 Tacoma TRD Sport reliable?

I'm looking at the 2024 Tacoma TRD Sport, which should be available right before the end of the year. My first thought is: "Are the TRD Sport still reliable when it's all said and done?" My impression of them has been good since I first drove a '93 Tacoma, but some of the reviews that I've read have been pretty negative.

My biggest concern is the fact that there have been reports about bad transmission issues with the TRD Sport models. I wonder if those issues are fixed.

The Tacoma has always had high reliability. In the 90s, the Tacoma had the highest reliability of any car we had (including full sizeds). It wasn't just a one or two year span. At least 95% of the trucks were trouble free. The only issue was the transmission which was replaced over 10 years and never resold as defective. If it were me, I would wait until it has 100K miles before buying a used Tacoma. But then again, if the tranny isn't an issue, I wouldn't be looking to buy one.

I also don't remember ever hearing of a Tacoma having transmission problems. It has always been a good reliable truck and has held up great for me. And if the tranny isn't an issue, I probably wouldn't be looking to buy one.

So now we wait for the first model year TRD Sport. Can they continue the tradition of being one of the most reliable trucks on the road? I've heard rumors about the possible release of the TRD Sport, but I don't know if it's really happening. I might be missing something.
