Which is the most reliable SUV in the UK?
What is the best second hand SUV to buy in the UK?
For those of you that have been following my posts on the car buying process, you will be aware that I recently purchased a second hand SUV. This was a bit of a challenge for me as I have always only purchased new cars. However, after spending a few hours researching on the Internet, I decided to take the plunge. I had read about a few reviews from the local garage that I trusted (who also had a range of second hand cars that they were selling) and it was clear that this was a great car to buy. It was also the most affordable one I had found so far.
I would like to share with you all my findings and experiences during the time I spent researching, buying and driving the car. I hope that my findings will help you to make a good decision when buying a second hand SUV.
The search. As I mentioned before, I had researched a lot before I took the plunge and I had a few questions in mind. Here are some of the things that I was interested in: The best second hand SUV in the UK. Which part of the UK is best to buy a second hand SUV in? How much do second hand SUVs cost? What is the difference between second hand and used? What is the best second hand SUV in the UK? There is no doubt that I wanted a diesel engine as I was doing a long distance drive and I really liked the way they sounded when I was driving. Therefore, my first choice was a Mercedes C220 CDI but unfortunately, they did not have any left on the market. I then decided to look at the Skoda Kodiaq. It was also a diesel engine but it was a bit smaller than the C220.
I also liked the looks of the car and the fact that it was made in Germany. There were other options such as the BMW X5, Volvo XC90, Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, etc.
I decided to narrow it down to one model as I did not want to spend money on a car that I could not drive.

What is the best used older SUV to buy?
I'm new to the site and to SUVs. I don't own a vehicle and I'm thinking about getting a used older SUV as my first car. I know that this site covers used vehicles, but I was hoping that the members here could give me some advice about which SUV to buy.
I like the fact that it's cheaper than most cars, but I like the 4x4. I would prefer to buy from a private owner because I don't want to pay a lot of money for a vehicle that will eventually go to an auction.
My main concern is that I don't want to drive it into the ground by spending too much on gas. What are the things I need to keep in mind when buying a used SUV? Thank you! SJ

What is the best SUV with least problems?
I know this is the wrong forum, but we'll start a thread that I'm sure will lead to the question being answered. So.? And it can't be a pick-up. I want something that will get me from point A to point B without problems (battery failure, overheating, etc.).
I have a 2024 Kia Sportage, but I've heard it's been known to be troublesome, especially in the low-end V6 model. I wouldn't recommend it.
I have a 2024 Nissan Xterra, and I love it. It's very well built, but has had issues with the heater and air conditioner not working properly. It's also been known to be known to overheat on warm days, and it's really not equipped with a rear wiper. It does, however, have a coolant reservoir that sits just behind the right tail light. It's pretty easy to check to see if you need to add coolant.
For me, the Xterra is great. I haven't owned a 4x4 in a while, and I miss it. That's because it doesn't have a hard top. However, I do like my truck because it's got a really nice feeling suspension.
I would recommend the Kia over the Xterra. It's a much better vehicle in every way, including being an SUV.
