What is the best SUV for the money in 2023?

What is the best second hand 4x4 to buy in the UK?

I have a 2026 Land Rover Discovery 3.5 and I need to buy a second hand 4x4 to upgrade it.

I would like to know what is the best second hand 4x4 that I can get. It is a light, easy to drive and can tow the max I want. Many thanks in advance. David. Well, I don't have much experience with Land Rovers but it would be a hard decision. The only problem I can see is that you will be stuck with whatever you buy as a second hand vehicle so you will not be able to swap it for another Land Rover. I think the best thing to do is to look at reviews and see which vehicles have the best reviews. You may also consider a Land Rover but there are many other makes available.

Personally I would suggest looking at a Nissan Navara as it is a good alternative to a Land Rover. It's only slightly heavier than a Land Rover and the towing capacity is equal or greater.

Thanks for your reply. I will check all the Land Rover reviews and hopefully I will be able to find the best one. If I change the vehicle, can I then sell it for the same price as if I bought a new one? That's a difficult question to answer because it depends on a lot of things. If it is sold for the same price as a new one, it means that the second hand dealer will make a profit on the transaction. This is not always the case.

You might better to check the used car websites and see if you can find the best price for the vehicle.

What is the best SUV for the money in 2023?

In a nutshell, you should look for two key factors when choosing the best SUV for the money. First, consider what kind off-road capability your preferences are for. Second, search for a model with fuel economy that will cut your fuel bill and make your budget stretch as far as possible.

You can also see a list of affordable SUVs below. You can use it to save money on your next SUV purchase. 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid

If you don't mind sacrificing a few features for efficiency and better fuel economy, the CR-V Hybrid is the vehicle for you. The CR-V Hybrid uses Honda's EZ Mode Hybrid system. EZ Mode operates in both EV mode and in both battery charge modes. When driving in city or highway traffic, EZ Mode will automatically shift between high- and low-rev ranges in order to get the most mileage possible out of your drive.

When cruising, the vehicle will switch to its regular power train. Once you get to a stoplight, the vehicle can be recharged back up to full battery capacity, if desired, before returning to a more efficient engine speed.

While the vehicle is being charged, it will offer a total range of 30-43 miles of electric-only operation. Once plugged in, you can expect the vehicle to have about 21 miles of electric-only range, though real-world figures could be higher or lower than that.

All of this allows you to conserve fuel costs by being the lowest-emissions vehicle in the lot when going back to a more efficient powertrain. Pros and Cons. Efficient hybrid powertrain technology. Pricey. Only available with front-wheel-drive. 2026 Ford Escape Hybrid. This Escape Hybrid has pretty much everything the CR-V Hybrid does, with a few exceptions. First, this vehicle will have higher-than-average power under acceleration. With its twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine, it can go from 0-60 in only 6.5 seconds.

The Escape Hybrid is also going to have a higher-than-average payload. Its weight is about 1,200 pounds more than the Honda CR-V Hybrid.

4wd suv best used cars 2023 uk What is the best second hand SUV to buy in the UK?

The answer is the Nissan Qashqai

In recent years there's been a revolution in the car market. It's driven by two main developments; electric and connected cars. They're no longer solely aimed at young urban professionals. They're for the family as much as they are for the tech whizzkid.

The reason why I say this is because there are plenty of second-hand estate cars out there, but most companies just aren't making more than 1,000 per year, even if they have a full production run. So you'll only be able to find a rare model from very limited stock.

The second reason, connected cars mean that new cars coming out are a lot better equipped in terms of connectivity. Meaning they'll have more technology inside, for example an in-dash infotainment system. But it comes at a price. They're more expensive to produce, so they're just not as common as conventional vehicles. This means the number of second hand models available is even smaller.

The combination of this is that today second hand estate cars are a niche product. They're rarer than they ever used to be and they're more expensive. And as a result they're becoming increasingly harder to buy or borrow if you don't know where to look.

But with a bit of sleuthing, the market has changed. In many cases a car from 10 to 15 years ago could now be one of the best buys around.

Why? Because the market has moved on. More connected cars are being produced at a quicker rate than before, as well as the introduction of electric cars. This means that the average second hand electric vehicle is priced at around 11,000. That makes them extremely popular when a car such as the Nissan Qashqai (or X-Trail) was costing 22,500 in the past.

However, this doesn't even begin to scratch the surface. Because these vehicles also have extra smart technology; for example smart cruise control. That can cut your petrol consumption by up to 30% and you can see how easy that would work out in real money terms. Or that new infotainment system in an existing car.

That's the sort of difference I want to see.

What is the most reliable 4x4 SUV in the UK?

We are interested in buying a new SUV and it's looking like the Land Rover Discovery will be our choice. We have found a few sites that show the Land Rover Discovery XL has the highest reliability rating on the market, but the most reliable 4x4 in the UK. What do you think?

Re: ? I've just had my Land Rover Discovery XL 2.5 Diesel for two years now and so far I'm very happy with it. I think the best way to describe it is that it's a really solid vehicle, which should stand up well to the knocks and bumps of daily use.

I agree with your choice of the Land Rover Discovery XL as the most reliable 4x4 in the UK. However, it's also worth bearing in mind that reliability is a factor of the vehicle's age, so newer models may perform better than older ones.

I have a JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE and I would say it is the best jeep for its class as a car it is cheap to buy and keep running good all the time. My only problem is that the tyres wear out quick as the rubber is not made to last very long and it needs to be changed every 3 months or 6 months. But for a family car it is the best as it is very stable and safe and you can tow children with it, or you can go on holiday with it and its safe and good to drive in snow or mud or sand. As a jeep it is not very fast but as a family car it is very good.

I have a Toyota Hilux Vigo and I've been very impressed with it. It's had no problems whatsoever, has a decent amount of storage space and is a fairly economical vehicle. It's not going to win any awards for looks, but it's as reliable as anything else on the market and it's good value for money.

What would you recommend. Are there any other models I should be looking at? My husband has a Mitsubishi L200 that's been great.
