Well I know where they will be playing all year but still I am not sure about the weather and just how hot it will be here, I guess in my little old town its just as hot as Phoenix so it should be about the same. I am interested in picking up a cheap ride to take to the ballgames to check things out. What kind do you suggest, how much is the gas etc.

The price for a Bug is going to be a lot lower than the price for most imported cars on the market. I would start searching for deals on eBay.

I have owned and drove one of those in Florida and while it may not be hot, it will definately warm up the interior. So look into that before you take a drive down.

The ones from Europe are more popular in Europe but they are really only worth the higher price because they are made better. I do believe that you are right about that, I can't see me ever driving one in the middle of the desert with no air conditioning, although with the air conditioning it will take some time to get used to the different climate. As for me what I am after is a cheap reliable car that will be able to make the long road trips down to where ever I go for work as well as run to the ballgames as well as run errands around town.

When I did my new drivers I asked for any car checks, the dealer said, no. Why don't we check the car, before giving the contract? He gave me 5 miles to do it. So I went home and did it myself. Got back there at 5.58 got in the car checked everything for 20 minutes then left.

He gave me 6,000 for the lot of repairs. Would be interesting to know others experiences, any one had anything like this? My opinion is if you dont have the time to do a good job why would you go out and buy a car? What did the check reveal? How much will the job cost for you personally? The way I would see it would be to get a second opinion, if he says it's ok then you could get another quote from another garage (without you knowing it was for an inspection), if they have the same quote as the first (assuming you are still offered the same deal) then he really doesn't want the car. I bought a car online from a seller using eBay. The seller is located in the UK and he sends it to me in Greece. How can I buy cars online from him? Should I buy it here in Greece from him or from any other country? Should the shipping charges be applied only to the country of the buyer?

I want to buy any car at my own will. In some countries, the law requires that the car seller is also the shipper, but I am not sure if in this case we can buy any car.

For you to be able to purchase a car directly from the UK you must first become a resident there. This way you would be able to obtain the correct paperwork and taxes etc required before being able to use them.

However, it will require maintenance and servicing within the Greek market (as a local car for 5 years). I will ask for a price estimate, and the salesman has asked me to buy it from him for 4800, if he can transfer it from the UK to Greece for me.
