I was wondering whether anyone can help me with the costs of a car, say a 2026 Mondeo 1.6TDi 16v petrol in April.

In UK the prices on the roads are usually higher than the ones quoted on carnet so does this mean that I would be spending more in the long run to cover the "wasting" fuel by driving to another place? I have 2 quotes (one from a private finance company) but they both seem pretty good.
