A new Thor RV, or just a Thor part number?
A few weeks ago we wrote about the Thor trailer part used in various trailers. At that time, all I knew about it was that it was part of the Thor trailer line of products. It turns out it isn't a trailer part; it's an RV!
RV = real trailer or RV = recreational vehicle. The Thor RV is a mobile home with wheels, unlike a standard trailer with a trailer hitch that has wheels. In other words, it's a real trailer or RV. This isn't a mystery as this type of product had been available before and even today you'll find these homes on your streets.
The question, though, is what's this little part and where is it found? We were looking for the name of this trailer part and we found the part number T-01. This looked like the same part number on the trailer. But where do we find the Thor RV?
In our search, we found a new trailer made by Thor and in fact, we got the name of the new trailer and the model number for it. It's not the same model number as the original Thor trailer, but it was made by Thor and we have its name and number.
The new trailer is the RV. Thor claims that their RV is an entirely different trailer than any other" Thor trailer. This new trailer is built by Thor and is built in California. It is an American made RV.

So, does this mean that Thor is marketing a part number for the RV? Probably not. The new Thor RV trailer part has been produced and shipped for some time now. So why change the name of this trailer part from "Thor Trailer" to "Thor RV"? Does it mean anything?
Here's what we have learned so far. We're not lawyers so we don't know how we can be wrong, but we're not taking any chances. We decided to call Thor's lawyer to get more information. We didn't have to wait long.
