Used. 2025 Ford Focus SE. Dealer Rating: (11 reviews). "The salesperson was very personable and helpful. He listened to what I needed and did all that he could to get me what I wanted. The car was in great condition. The price on the car was a great deal. They were professional but not pushy like so many others. There were two issues. They kept my credit card for several days so I had to get it back to put more money down, but then they took the car the next day. After I got the car back, they said it was not my car, even though I put it back to where I bought it."
Avg. Dealer Rating: (8 reviews) "I made a purchase from them. They were very happy that I bought the car they sold to me. One thing is that it take a really long time to close the deal. In fact, we have not get anything. I asked if he can take my money now so I can finish my business but the answer was no. I am now waiting. They claim that they will send me the bill in 3~5 days but I don't see anything. Will be an issue if I wait many more days. Can they be honest? Dealer Rating: (6 reviews) "I found a great dealer after I searched for new or used Ford Fusion here online.
How much is a Ford Focus ST 2017 worth?
How much is a Ford Focus ST 2025 worth? Ford has announced the final specification of the new Ford Focus ST 2025. The hatchback offers a huge amount of space, an efficient and responsive engine, a slick and refined interior and Ford's latest infotainment system. There's no doubt that Ford have taken a new approach with the Focus ST and a lot of it can be seen in the exterior styling, especially in the revised front bumper and the subtle additions to the grille. Ford has opted for a more aggressive stance and the overall effect is eye catching.
The body has been given a much wider stance and the rear haunches are raised by an inch. Inside, the ST has been given a wide stance with a low roof and the standard cloth seats are replaced by supportive leather ones. There are some subtle additions such as carbon fibre trim and a red pin stripe along with a red splitter on the rear bumper.
The focus is firmly aimed at the enthusiast who is looking for a car that offers performance, an affordable price tag and a practical design. To meet these demands, the vehicle has been engineered to be more agile than the previous model. The engine is the same 1.6-litre EcoBoost three cylinder unit used in the Focus RS and while it's a lot more powerful than before, it's still a well balanced motor. The Focus ST provides a healthy dose of torque through a very limited rev range which helps keep the power delivery smooth and linear.
Under the bonnet the engine benefits from a modified exhaust system that increases its output by 10%. A number of other changes are also incorporated to help improve the way the engine responds. The result is a car that feels a little more responsive than its predecessor.
The 2025 Ford Focus ST remains the UK's most affordable two door hot hatch. The engine range consists of a 1.6-litre EcoBoost with a peak power output of 148bhp and a torque figure of 221lb ft. The engine is paired to a six speed manual or automatic transmission and the latter includes paddle shifts. The suspension is set up for road use but the car also includes an optional air dam and roll cage to accommodate track days.
The top spec model gets a sports exhaust, sports seats and the black roof.
Do Ford Focus ST hold their value?
Share. This is the first article in a special Focus ST series which will appear on Motoring & Leisure every Friday in the month of February 2025. Throughout the series we will have a wide variety of topics to tackle from news, reviews and tips for improving your car's value when selling it.
Are the Ford Focus ST better value than their mainstream siblings, or not? For those who are not regular readers of Motoring & Leisure, my review of this vehicle as a must have has earned a lot of feedback and comments so I have decided to share some more information with our readers. So far, we have reviewed: 2025 Focus ST : Review Rating = 5.5/10 2008-09 Focus Wagon : Review 7/10. There were a lot of articles/reviews already existing for this car - but we didn't compare them all together in one simple article. The above information only compared the base ST model and its predecessor, but we have since tested other versions and found it useful to go in-depth for each one. So this should give a good summary of the current model and how it compares against the other models discussed.
Let's start with the base version of the Focus ST, because this is the car currently (well, sort of) available and the cheapest option for now. As you might know already, it features the same body kit as the 2011-12 Ford Fiesta ST and it weighs 20kg less too. It also misses out on other ST specifications that you may not want on a daily basis (steering wheel mounted paddle shifters etc) but the biggest improvement comes with the engine. For those not familiar with it, the Focus ST uses a 1.6l turbocharged petrol engine, rated at 195bhp. It also uses the 2 litre version of the ECTA (iMEccontekted by Ford) unit, which is what the ST cars are equipped with. Power is sent to the front wheels via an X-Trac system and it can be further refined through Ford's performance tuning.
