What is the prediction for cars in 2023?

What is the prediction for cars in 2023?

Are UK 2nd hand car prices dropping?

So according to my dealer, used car prices have dropped a bit in the UK. I would like to know if this is true and if it is if any dealer near me has actually had their prices drop.

I am currently looking at the Vauxhall Astra 1.8 iCD for a used one with the best deal being 1550 which I think is still a bit high as a used car.

Can anyone give me any information on this? I was thinking of just buying an old 2nd hand car and then scrapping it at a later date when the new model comes out? 2nd hand car prices have actually dropped a lot this year, as the new model is finally coming out, it will be a lot easier to sell a used model than an old model. Also, some dealers are not keen on selling old models due to the fact that the old model is going to be replaced, but it is quite a short window between the new model coming out and the old model being scrapped.

That's great to hear. Is there any information about what dealers are telling you to get a good price? If a dealership says "we want xxxx" then the more they want the less you'll get, they might say they want "500-700" and you'll probably get "800-900" . Also, be wary of 'internet' sellers. If they are an independent dealer, they'll probably tell you the value they are prepared to pay and ask you to offer what you're prepared to pay. If they are a dealership, you'll probably get a salesperson who tells you what they want and you have to offer what they want (unless you negotiate). I'm sure there's some dealers who will just tell you what they want and you either accept or reject it. In which case you're stuffed! You should try to find a dealer who is willing to negotiate. You don't want to end up with a dealer who wants a particular car but is not willing to pay the most for it - they won't be around to deal with you later if they've made an offer which was low.

I don't really watch any of the auto shows or know anything
About automotive design. I had always seen car companies coming up with one thing like hover cars, self driving cars and this kind of thing. But for the last several years everything has started to slow down. The industry is going backwards, or no where?

What in your mind is a 'smart car' and when will it be ready? I was listening to a news piece yesterday that Tesla was developing a fully automated electric sedan with 'no steering wheels' or anything like that. The driver could set their own schedule. But I thought that if you have an automated car all the money you pay as gas could go towards batteries. What do you think? That could never happen? Why not?

One more thing. The 'self' driver could set a collision avoidance mode. And the rest of us just let them run over people in his path.

Yes, there are several smart and highly automated automobiles currently on the market including some used cars such as: Smart car; Mercedes Benz E-250; Audi A8; BMW 545i; Lexus LS 500; Jaguar XE400; Volvo S60. This list does not include some new ones.

What we see now are mostly concept vehicles from manufacturers as well as companies testing. And some prototypes.

What would the cost of one be? And can it even be done? I thought it was about creating a vehicle with a self driver so that the user can use that car and it goes anywhere he wants it to. ? We need autonomous cars to exist in order to implement the idea of "transport democracy". This is the basic idea behind the concept of transport automation, where transport operators such as bus and train operators as well as truck and bus drivers have been replaced with autonomous vehicles, as described in the report called Road to Transport Democracy.

It says 'There is no better way to reach more people quickly, cheaply, reliably and without adverse environmental effects than through the provision of mass, frequent and convenient public transportand the further development of autonomous (and thus passenger-free) public transport vehicles is an investment opportunity in its own right.

Will car prices come down in 2023 UK?

Not this year, and probably not the next. But they may in the years ahead, say forecasters

A prediction of the future. A prediction is a statement about what will happen if certain conditions continue unchanged.

But in the financial press it is called something else - it is analyst opinion or more simply a forecast. A revenue forecast or a revenue estimate. Something with a long vowel to it so is almost like a noun.

This is a forecast or an estimate from one firm. It does not necessarily mean that the rest of the industry agrees. The fact that the firms are in the same profession shows what kind of job their managers are paid for doing.

I have asked a number of companies what they think in 2024 and I have been told: That my predictions are ridiculous. That they have no such forecasts. Or that the future is unknowable. And other things equally unsatisfying. One interesting thing is how the forecasts can change over time. There was some talk of a sharp rise in 2024. By the middle of this year, however, it was down to flat. It is just as well that a government which has no grasp of the economics it sets taxes and spending on has realised that it is an ill-advised policy. It did not realise, however, that it had set off the economy on a self-reinforcing cycle.

So if a forecast is about the future, what is the best way to describe that future? Is it one day's weather? Is it a couple of weeks? Is it a decade? How about a century? And, finally, just how good can we be at describing that future? Are there any methods which can predict the future even better than our best forecasters? In the late 1930s, at the height of the Great Depression, the New York Stock Exchange and the American Chamber of Commerce made a forecast that the unemployment rate would be less than 3%. They were off by more than 2%, because it would not come to pass. It could not happen. By this I mean that the economists did not forecast that it would be a bad year. They did not know.

They knew how the system worked.
