They now have a global market place with the worlds biggest car manufacturing site in Korea. In 1986 Hyundai setup a new company, Hyundai Motors India Ltd, with a large production plant near to Chenai.

Since then the company's products have become more and more popular with it's range of budget cars winning many awards for design and innovation. All of this has lead to the company now being the 5th biggest car manufacturer by sales volume in the world and is one of the Big Asian Four.
