They produced several Mazda derived cars which were sold by them and rebadged by Ford who sold them in North America and Australasia. Kia Motors America was setup in 1992 with them just selling the one model the Sedona which was later followed by the sportage SUV. The company have steadily built their market share there ever since, to the point where they now have a production base in North America after investing $1 billion in 2005.

Since it's rise in the North American market the company has set it's sights on the European market and currently is the fastest growing car company in the UK. Their current range offers budget cars in many style of motoring.
