Originally a manufacturer of side cars, it wasn't until 1935 that they produced their first cars. They first staked their claim to be taken seriously in the 1950's when there they produced a number of sports saloons and luxury saloon cars. This has been a bit of a tradition with the company ever since.

1960 saw Jaguar take over ownership of the Daimler brand from B.S.A. The Daimler brand was used by Jaguar for it's most luxurious saloon cars. Within it's history there are also many famous motor sport wins, in various competitions.

Many of the older Jaguars have a huge following of enthusiasts which has spawned a whole new industry to keep these historic cars running and in good condition.

The company has been plagued with a number of problems over the years but has always managed to come through and produce yet another classic thoroughbred. Modern Jaguars are as they always have been luxurious and stylish, with a number of performance models available as always to keep their sporting heritage alive and well.

Latest review of a Jaguar vehicle (XJ)

A great looking refined vehicle, with an aluminium body, offers a great drive, and spacious interiors. Bodywork repairs can be expensive due to it's build material.
